They nailed the crab cakes tonight, had two terrific fish specials and my sword was done very well indeed. Place was packed on a Wed night mid Mar you always need reservations. My wife liked her cabernet and I liked my Cali chard very much. Health issues cut our evening short or we would have had a desert! Service was and is always very good. Mind you, she's closing for a month late Mar-Apr so follow them at their web site.
This visit to Franny's was every bit as good as the last one. The shrimp dumplings? Yum. And the duck confit salad, shrimp and grits, and cocktails. Thanks again for another reliably wonderful meal.

As always - a fabulous experience. The steak frites were exceptionally good, as were the lobster fritters and shrimp spring rolls. I always get the guapo but the wine list is superb
