We had a very pleasant dinner - nice flavors, beautiful presentation, attractive dining room, friendly and helpful service. The fish chowder was outstanding, the crab cake was good (I liked the pickled onions that came with it). The steak with horseradish was good and was a perfect medium rare.
We dined at TGT on 6/20. The service, provided by Nicholas, was impeccable and the food was perfectly prepared. We started with the delicious brown bread. My wife had a succulent pork dish:I had the fish and chips. Both were nicely prepared and reasonably accompanied. Cape Elizabeth is a seashore town just outside of Portland - an easy 15 minute drive from in town. TGT is close to Two Lights and Crescent Beach State Parks. This was a very special treat for us, especially after having several meals at the SeaGlass restaurant just down the street. The chef at The Good Table is truly one of the best. I think they could do a little at improving the ambiance.
