First time visiting Castine and came across this restaurant. We came in with my wife, her grandfather, and our baby and were sat and attended to right away. Service was quick, food was amazing and atmosphere was comfortable. Very unique and memorable place. Cant wait to come back and try the “best lobster roll in Maine”.
Our first visit to Castine. We were excited to check out Maine Maritime Academy for my son who is exploring higher education after high school next year. I found The Breeze while walking, looking for coffee and found a most glorious breakfast. If I do say so myself, I am the corned beef queen and when it comes to corned beef, I try it everywhere I go in search of THE BEST and I finally found the BEST I’ve ever tasted! 53 years of seaside living & dining, and this may have been the best seafood I've ever had. What an incredible little gem, and a privilege for the folks of Castine to have this treasure in their town! We each had a bowl of delicious, flavorful, creamy clam chowder. I had a combo meal of wonderfully crispy and perfectly seasoned belly clams, haddock bites, and shrimp with fries. My wife had the Chilean sea bass, which melted in our mouths like a zesty cloud.
