“Stopped in Castine to see the town. Had a bite to eat at The Breeze and Castine Variety. I was very pleased with the food. It was delicious. Everything I ordered was excellent and I was greeted with kindness and a wonderful ambiance. Thank you to Kermit and Chef Snow for making my short stay in Castine a very pleasant, delicious, and memorable experience. On my next trip back, I am definitely hoping to see them again and eat there once more to make another delicious and delightful memory. Thank you again!!!”
“Massimo's draws on the spirit and style of European Culinary artistry. It is unlike anything you will find in the area and will not leave you disappointed in palette, presence or attitude. Well worth your time to visit this skilled artisan's, friendly studio of culinary passion! 110%!”
“While attending the Maine Boat and Home Show in August, this beauty of "a food truck" was parked close by. I just had to stop. Ended up with the Maine Blueberry cup...yummy 4 my tummy. Yeah for spontaneity! So good, just classic...”
“Don’t come here if you think all restaurants should be run like a Wendy’s. Incredibly hardworking establishment, putting more care into pizza (and bread) making than most. Truly excellent pizza, absolutely perfect crust and delicious toppings. The most beautiful outdoor and indoor dining areas and very kind service. I challenge you to find a better pizza anywhere on the east coast. I know I’ve tried. Buy their bread immediately if you see it in local shops. It’s killer.”
“Treat yourself. Even if you don't deserve it! I'm pretty fussy when I eat out because I am trying to have a break from cooking, and I want inspiration. I love this menu. It is not large, but it offers awesome choices. I had enchiladas with chicken and a tasty mole sauce! I also recommend the wings. More like legs, they are huge, very tasty and satisfying. And a bit messy but in the good way! The pizza is honestly the best in the area, and they do TAKE OUT! They also have entertainment! Check their website for what is happening. My housemate and I loved the drag show!”
“The best! Good fun, great venue, awesome food and drink menu. Dog friendly patio. You can order online and pick up your food which is convenient. We are locals and visit here several times a month.”
“We arrived at night so we couldn't see the marina, but we could tell the view would have been spectacular. It was nice at night. I had the quiche plus salad and my daughter had the beet burger. They had games so my daughter and I played Yahtzee while waiting for our food. I also ordered the pain killer drink which was tasty, but the pain was still there afterward. We ordered the sweet potato cheese cake which was also good. The waitress was nice and gave good suggestions. The place was easy to find with Google but hard to see at night through winding roads. Nothing to worry about though.”
“I loved this cafe—it's so cute inside with lots of plants and a big selection of pastries. The croissant was really tasty. The best part—the cafe will put your takeout coffee in a reusable to-go mug. Just bring it back to the shop when you're done. It's such a genius way to reduce plastic waste!”
“A great, no frills place, serving great food at decent prices. Stopped in for a late lunch of crab Rangoon, Philly steak, and fish and chips with sweet potato fries. Food was hot, fast and very flavorful.”
“This was our first time eating here, we just happened to be in town for some work. The food was so good! Large portions, for the money. The wait staff were all very friendly & fast. We ate our main course before I thought to take any pictures, but I took pictures of our desserts. Bread pudding & hot fudge brownie sundae.”
“The whole family absolutely loves this place no matter who's behind the counter they're always extremely nice the foods always done very well. When I tell the family we're ordering food for dinner they always want to get it from here!100% recommend ?”
“Love the girls that work here in the a.m. my coffee is always good ? the only thing I don't recommend is anything containing an egg. This has nothing to do with the employees working at this branch were any branch for that matter. I believe Duncan as a corporation switch to the egg manufacturer or the way they process them prior to sending them to the individual restaurants. For the last month they are always..... We will say gooey just because I don't know how else to describe it. It's almost as if it's a runny yolk texture but not. And it's not just at my location of had egg on my breakfast sandwich at 3 other locations and they're all the same.”
“Fun place. At least they are open seven days a week which is helpful when there's nothing really else in town to go to. I just feel bad because they were rather short staffed and it took a while to get going. The ambience is super fun lots of things from Maine. The food was really good as well. My only complaint is they could use a little bit of background music. It doesn't have to be too loud, but I don't really care to hear other peoples conversations.”
