Local landmark. Attracts old-timers, college students, and anyone who values good food, cold beer, and a cheerful staff. Rub shoulders, converse, or play pool with the folks who make Castine such a great town. The chicken quesadilla is delicious. Highly recommend this place!
What a beautiful little location a beautiful spot in the world is my first time in Maine and I have truly enjoyed the hospitality at this location. The blackened chicken Caesar salad was awesome. The lady that was bartending wasn’t quite a bartender however she delivered phenomenal service. And when I come back to visit my husband’s family, we will come back. Hands-down.
This was a really pleasant surprise. Unassuming and popular with the (mostly seasonal?) locals, we went on a Tuesday evening.... It was pumping because of Taco Tuesday, which was good value. Kind of sad we didn't stump for the pizza, which looked amazing - we had tacos instead. They were okay, but a little bland for my palate. Still, they could be livened up with the optional extras.
