Counting the days till you open for 2023. Our favorite lunch spot I think we have been having lunch at the dock for like 40 years. The food is always hot and fresh. The fry’s are the best anywhere.
We had a wonderful lunch at The Captain's Catch on their last day of service for the season - the crab roll and bang bang shrimp were particular favorites of our group. Service was friendly and quick, the food was excellent, and there was plenty of seating on the dock nearby right on Castine Harbor. Debbie and her team also made an amazing dinner for my group to celebrate my birthday, including lobsters, mussels, haddock chowder, salad and veggies. We all agreed it was our...
Food and service are fabulous. The haddock burgers are excellent with a healthy portion of haddock. The crab roll got high marks as well. We ordered a crab pie just to try it...and it was delicious...more like a crab quiche, you can cut it and share. The only negative is that there is not enough shaded space to sit and enjoy your food. Best to go on a cooler or cloudy day. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely go back.
