I find the one star rating(s) very hard to believe. I've eaten here 3 times this past summer and I had a great dining experience *all* 3 times. The food was creative and very, very good. What really stands out is the hardworking crew. Everyone looks happy and that is nice. The crew hustles to give you a good dining experience. We ordered the haddock sandwich, fish and chips and scallops. The food was well prepared, fresh and tasty. The service was good. The location and view of the harbor is nice. Compared to other similar spots in the area, it was a bit pricy.
We had the fried clams(very good) lobster roll(excellent)fried fish sandwich (very good) and the orange pecan salad with grilled chicken also very good. Great spot right on castine bay. Super service.
