Excellent service. Fast, friendly, clean. Very friendly little diner. My wife had a western sandwich. Excellent I had open faced turkey sandwich.not so good. Being a family style diner.. I expected to see a real homemade hot turkey sandwich for 15.99 What I got was one slice of bread with deli style turkey, jar turkey gravy, and stove top stuffing .. if I can make this at home.. why would I come to dine out? This needs improvement.

I remember this building 18 years ago when it was nothing. Beautiful job on the renovations inside. I have worked in two historic hotels in the kitchens and I can tell you the breakfast here was phenomenal! The English muffin was huge real butter scrambled eggs to perfection you have your choice of having your Fries done on the grill or deep fried. Huge slabs of bacon. And the cook knows what he’s doing because he does not overseas the potatoes or the eggs. He allows it so you can put your own salt and pepper. He knows what he’s doing! Family owned and operated . What I liked about it the most is that everyone knows everybody and the locals love it. I’ve been here for a month and a half and I am glad I stopped by friendly prompt service coffee was to die for. Lol I should be a food critic ? why people do not give five stars. I will never understand , obviously, you can’t please everybody but tell you why it sure beats any truckstop or commercial diner.? Having come from small business once you make it past the five-year mark, you’ve got it made well done keep up the wonderful work

Had breakfast party of 5 very good service forgot bacon on one sandwich great food decided to order take out for dinner did not have the clamps chowder as advertised. Ordered liver and onions very small potions the liver was extremely over cooked and very small onions would have fit in a couple of table spoons the coleslaw was delicious but the little container they pack it in was only filled half way 2nd time the take out was very disappointing
Had a lobster roll ($18) and fried scallops with sweet potato fries.

My husband and I went to The Farmers Table for the first time last night! He had suggested we try it earlier in the day. It was busy but we were seated in 20 minutes.The restaurant is very cute country place. My husband ordered the Prime Rib and clams. He was starving! I ordered the scallops and fries. Everything was fine. My husband just took a picture of his steak to send to our son. When he started having an indigestion spell. And when he hiccuped he got a piece of food caught in his throat. I attempted to help him but quickly realized I needed help. I turned and yelled help and a man ran to my husband and started the Heimlich maneuver. There was some women giving the man instructions to do it lower and with the help of everyone around us my husband was saved. Everyone was so kind and caring. My husband and I want to thank everyone of you that helped. The gentleman that helped, the ladies for their assistance. And thank you to the nice family who covered our bill. so sorry for just taking off so quickly . It was overwhelming and my husband was embarrassed and just not feeling well. Thank you again! My family thanks you

21 hungry siblings, other relatives, and friends met for lunch at the Farmer's Table and we were not disappointed. The food was delicious, prepared to perfection, and served by 1 (yes, 1!) friendly, efficient waitress. It is evident that much pride goes into providing great food and a happy atmosphere in which to enjoy it. Kudos & thanks to Brad & Debbie for this gem !! And try the whole belly fried clams...best I've ever eaten and I've been around for a long time.

The Autumn Experience
The Farmers Table made for a pleasant lunch stop. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the stuffed mushrooms, lobster roll, seafood stew, and onion rings. Everything met our expectations, and I was particularly pleased that the mushrooms weren’t fried. The kids’ meals were generous in size. We were a bit bummed that breakfast had ended by 10:30 in the morning, but the service was pleasant. The only other downsides were the absence of Bloody Marys and a grilled chicken Caesar salad that was heavy on cheese and croutons but light on lettuce.
