“Stopped here for some lunch. It’s not far from the highway so it’s easy to get to. There’s street parking as well as parking lot behind the restaurant. It’s a place that has the classic New England style/vibe. The waitress was super nice and attentive. Our food was really good and there’s plenty of choices to choose from. There’s also a nice area for kids to play Between the highway and the restaurant there’s several stores, a grocery store and gas stations.”

“I ordered the Angler Plater, it came with baby shrimp and a good amount of them, scallops they were fried just right they were juicy and tasty. Just the right amount of seasoning, the dish came with a nice giant piece of haddock that was fried and cooked perfectly had it could’ve used a little more seasoning. It was a little on the bland side, the fried clams were delicious. I highly recommend this place because overall it was a wonderful dish. I ordered the Caesar salad and sweet potato fries, the fries were quite good. The salad was nice.”

“You know it's summer when Sawyers opens. The young ladies always greet you with a smile. They have the best homemade onion rings. You can't go wrong any of the items on the menu. And you certainly have to finish your meal with ice cream. I can't wait until they open in the spring”

“Foggys is our go to spot around Newport. Staff is always welcoming, food is never disappointing, and they keep a wide selection of local beers on tap. Live music, holiday festivities, trivia, driving range off of the deck seating, etc. They are also very receptive to feedback and customer satisfaction. “Newport Diner is everything you'd want in a small local eatery. I saw that they make their own sausage in house so I had to get some sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese. The sausage was delicious my meal came with two large patties. The coffee was excellent too - it'll "put some hair on your chest" as my grandmother used to say - meaning it's strong coffee - just how I like it. There were two ladies working the place and they were a well oiled team, friendly, and fast. They made me feel like a local. The day I went it seemed everyone knew everyone there. The menu is everything you'd expect a diner to have. Tons of breakfast options, burgers, sandwiches, and check the board for daily specials. The diner itself is clean and cozy, plenty of parking in the lot and down behind as well. There is ramp for wheelchair access and the dining area is broken up into three sections. Two out front and one out back. The food was excellent, portions were generous, I was admiring what others were having as well and no one left hungry! If you ever find yourself on a lazy Sunday morning hit the Newport Diner, it's def. worth it!”

“Excellent little place to stop for some delicious, fairly priced food! The staff are super friendly, and you can't beat the prices, especially for the quality. It's tucked in on the right just before the Dexter police station/traffic light, which means you can actually comfortably eat in the parking lot too. Excellent food, excellent service! “Tonight I ate an order General Tsos chicken, crab rangoons, and pork fried rice. The crab rangoons were spectacular! They were delicious and were the best part of the meal. The General Tsos chicken was really good as well. I also really enjoyed the pork fried rice, and the duck sauce really enhanced the flavor of the rice. I would probably get food from here again.”

“Great Pizza! We got a large pepperoni and fries and the Pizza was great! Lots of good choices between toppings and other options if you are looking for something else.The pizza was cooked how I like it, crust was a little on the thin side which I prefer and was cooked very well all the way through. The crust was crunchy and cooked on the bottom well where a lot of places tend to get wrong.Kid-friendliness: It's a pizza place, lots of choices for the kids if they don't like Pizza.”

“Ive only gotten one sandwich that wasnt top notch and it was due to them having a busload(literally ) of people; and it was just lacking some veggies, otherwise we absolutely love their food ,the names are one of the best things (brilliant idea btw?) i finally tried a salad the other day and OMG i wont get salad anywhere else it was fresh made to order (allergies) and it took me 2 days to eat it ! Had very good amounts of the ingredients they didnt skimp and the lettuce was crunchy fresh. Definitely go back for another ?The atmosphere rating is because i eat at home , lol, one day ill sit and take it in ?Dietary restrictions: I tell them what i cant have or allergic to and they always make sure its correct ?One of my sons favorite is Breakin the Slaw , and i usually do a make your own ,or the tuna one cant think or its name ?”

“The food is great, and so is the coffee. Nothing to complain about with the service itself inside either, the workers are very friendly and kind; my only complaint is the inconsistant lobby times. I go to dunkin almost every morning on my break, but im not always able to get coffee due to the lobby being closed. And I go after the lobby is supposed to be open, so its pretty dissapointing to walk up to find the doors locked. I sometimes walk up to the drivethru, but only when there are no cars.”

“I was so pleasantly surprised by the freshness and choices of sandwiches to go. I chose a cranberry walnut chicken sandwich which was very tasty. I returned a second time for a lunch while on vacation. I also noticed several types of pizza slices also to go.”
