My wife and I have been vacationing all over Maine. We've had lobster at various places on our trip, but this one had the tastiest lobster 🦞. We both ordered the off menu lobster buns, recommended by the sweet lady that served us. They were simple ingredients, ultra fresh, lobster meat was tender, sweet, fresh, and standout. Delicious 😋. Totally worth the ferry trip, just to get this sandwich 🥪.
Visited Cranberry Island for the morning - Hitty’s may be your only food option besides the general store. Solid sandwiches. Owner was at first slightly condescending but warmed up as we spent money. Not sure if they get sick of the tourists?
We were there at the end of the season. The food was wonderful, and the outdoor patio was amazing. The guy was a little gruff, but it was the end of the season, so he might have been a bit over the tourists, which I can understand. Overall, it was fantastic.
