The dilly bean tempura was absolutely fantastic. Great intimate little spot. Open kitchen that is subtly cooking your next great meal in the corner

Great food and high quality ingredients, cashiers are hit or miss--some need some customer service training. Others are outstanding and welcoming!

Good drinks and great food. Highly recommend, and we look forward to eating here again soon! Ps- limited kids menu, but ours didn't complain.

Best breakfast sandwich I have ever had was today's special at Dara Bistro: crispy fried chicken breast, scrambled egg, cheese, a drizzle of maple syrup and sliced jalapenos on delicious homemade bread.

Coffee shop and bakery in the mornings transforms into a pretty little restaurant at night in a quaint old farmhouse setting. Very nice atmosphere. Food was excellent. Service excellent. We will go back whenever we get a chance.

We had such a delicious birthday dinner at Dara the other night. Our party of six split several starters (the tempura dilly beans and crab cakes were favorites). The entrees were even better - the smoked duck breast was so flavorful, the cod was cooked perfectly and the frites of the steak frites were maybe the best I've ever had. And the desserts, especially the spruce and maple creme brulee and light(!) flourless chocolate cake were outstanding. It’s a splurge for sure but well worth it - can’t wait to go back. Wishing the whole crew at Dara so much luck with such an ambitious venture. Go!!

This place is incredible!!! Great breakfast and coffee in the morning and a dinner experience that is always spectacular.
For some reason, they are almost always playing some of my favorite music just perfectly in the background. Its amazing!

Kid-friendliness: For being such a beautiful, classy restaurant, they have always been wonderful to my children and their friends. (They will also make my kids their favorite pasta w butter and cheese)

I had been here for coffee but not yet for dinner and was impressed! We went for a family dinner and had the focaccia (tasty!) the beet salad with the cutest little tender beets, the Cod, which was delicious, and the Pork loin, also a big hit. For dessert we had the flourless chocolate cake, crème brûlée, and raspberry sorbet, all really gooood! Will definitely be coming back.

Dietary restrictions: I’m lactose intolerant and they were very mindful of my needs.

Nice breakfast shop right in the middle of Cumberland Center. Coffee, tea, chai, baked goods, and breakfast sandwiches. Very friendly service. I frequent this place and it's always pretty good.
A few nights a week, it turns into an upscale dinner place.

Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten-free baked goods

Stopped in for the first time while visiting family in Cumberland, ME. I had parked in their lot to watch the local Memorial Day Parade that passed right by. Afterwards, I went in to get a coffee and warm up from the drizzly morning. Unfortunately, temptation overcame mine and my friend's resolutions, and we indulged in a shared sea salted sourdough bagel, an apricot ginger scone, and a chocolate cookie. The coffee was their Cumberland blend, fresh, hot, and delicious. The bagel was delicious. The scone was excellent, both in flavor and texture, and the chocolate cookie was a cross between a crisp cookie on the outside and a chewy brownie on the inside, dark and decadent. They were very busy with parade people coming in, but everyone was congenial and efficient. My only problem was that their were no waitresses. One had to stand in line at the counter, place one's order, then get one's own coffee at the very clean coffee counter. I have ambulatory issues, and it would have been much easier had I been able to sit and be waited on. I'm sure that had I asked for help, they would have been accommodating, but they were so busy that it wasn't fair to ask. All in all, it was a very pleasant first encounter, and I am sure there will be many more. I look forward to having dinner there in the near future. I highly recommend Dara Bistro.

Wheelchair accessibility: I parked at the back side entrance and there was a curb ramp to the side walk that took one to the entrance which looked large enough to accommodate a wheelchair.
