Clean cozy spot with friendly staff. Good coffee, nice and hot. Had a cinnamon roll and a scone, both were excellent although I wish they could have heated up the cinnamon roll but they said they can't. Also, the bar seats are pretty uncomfortable, which is too bad as we like sitting at the bar and looking out the window at the street, but we wound up moving to a table which was more comfortable. Overall great spot and right on the main drag, good location.

Lovely place with delicious food and coffees that are excellently prepared. Busy and limited on space. Most tables only seat two comfortably. Service was gracious.

I recently bought a $10 breakfast sandwich. I could only eat half of. It was really just a couple slabs of white bread with two eggs, some ham and cheese the dude with the man bun and another woman there working for that matter both seem indifferent I’ll be spending my hard earned money elsewhere.

Really great place to get food when you have dietary restrictions. Beautiful spot, tasty food and pastries and divine espresso!

I can only judge based on one limited encounter. The pastry I tried was a brioche square with raspberry and vanilla cream filling. The pastry itself was dry, and perhaps not fresh, or so it seemed. The filling was tasty. The cappuccino was fair. The store itself if beautiful, serene, and there are lots of viewing options, and there is some outdoor seating on the sidewalk for people watching and/or sun worship. Prices are too high.

Definitely a cut above all the coffee available in this town, that is if you appreciate a better brew. I go here for one thing and it's coffee. I have not tried any of the food items but they look great!

Lovely baked goods. Friend reports the coffee is good. Local is always better.

Dietary restrictions: GF goodies available.

What a sweet, cozy cafe! It took me a while to check it out but I’m sorry it took me so long - I visited on a rainy day and instantly felt like I was whisked away to another world. Great music, lovely setup, and delicious food. I got one of the breakfast sandwiches (and have been back since, ordered a blueberry scone), both delicious. Thank you for adding such a wonderful new option to Damariscotta :)

We're really glad Prudence and Roger opened up Rue 77 this year. We needed something like this in town!

They have done a great job with every detail. Roger is always a class act too.

10/10 would recommend.

The best coffee in the area and no wonder - the great lengths Roger, the barista, and the crew take in partnership with Stumptown Coffee Roasters to insure a great cup. The baked goods are sublime...try the cherry walnut scone...no need for a trip to Scotland...not too sweet, perfect. A lunch there or back to the office, one of their street sandwiches is just the thing. Roger and his staff always make us feel like special guests.
