We are SO glad we stopped by! Delicious ice cream in a convenient location on our trek from Maine to D.C.! All I wanted was blueberry ice cream before I left this beautiful state and this cute place delivered tenfold! They also had a ton of flavors and neat cone options like lavender and matcha. My wife ordered cookies and cream in a matcha cone and downed it before I could even get a picture 15/10 flavor and even kinder service- def stop here!!
Gifford’s ice cream is the best around, and what they serve! Wide variety of toppings, flavors, and other kinds of sweet treats. Terrific service; everyone is very nice and wonderfully attentive when taking your order, especially in delivering quality ice cream and deserts.
This cute ice cream shop right in downtown Damariscotta is clean, bright, and colorful, and the ice cream is the best around--absolutely no question! Delicious! And the young women who worked there couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. I am disturbed that when clicking on Tripadvisor, a really bad review shows up that bears no relation to our experience. That's wrong (and a terrible practice on Tripadvisor's part) .
