This is my second purchase of Stonington Finnan Haddie. I made Cullen Skink for a Robert Burns Supper earlier this year, and it was such a hit I'm making it again for our annual Beach Week.Stonington's Finnan Haddie is a flavor bomb! My friends thought I spent hours in the kitchen, but the chowder comes together quickly. Richard did all the hard work.

Fried previously tasteless frozen fish (at a seafood restaurant) and very average frozen French fries, at $18.95/each! Absolutely nothing special, super generic, super pricey, with all the ambiance of a Walmart. We wanted to skip the restaurant chains in favor of local flair roadside fresh seafood. This was not that.
