Our appetizer (1/2 dozen oysters) took over 45 min to arrive and our entree's took 1hr 30min due to a 35 person wedding party being seated minutes prior to our reservation. We were not notified of this prior and feel it was unfair to book addition parties during the same time as this other large party. Our waiter did his best to keep us occupied with drinks and bread while we waited but his hand were tied due to the kitchens overwellment with the large seated party. Your management should has locked out reservations during the time of the wedding parties dinner or let us know that there may be delays in our service. They did a disservice to not only us and other patrons, but also the staff by overwhelming them with one large party and other patrons.

I was at your rooftop location celebrating a post wedding brunch on 8/23/25.
I can’t put into words how WONDERFUL my experience was from the location, atmosphere, service and food.
EVERYTHING was exceptional. I would like to especially compliment Jessica, our “server”. She was more than a server- she was kind, interested, helpful and, above all, efficient! She made sure everyone was comfortable, happy and got what they needed!
I know about service as I was a flight attendant with a major airline for 47 years.
Jessica went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience for all of us. She is an asset to your business!
Compliments to the chef as well. Several of us ordered the Eggs Benedict and the eggs were perfectly cooked!!
I will definitely put your restaurant on my “return to” list!!
Thank you all for the perfect ending to a fabulous wedding!
The guests spent nothing as it was a treat from the groom’s parents! Thank you John and Starr!

We hosted a private brunch for about 50 people on top deck and were super happy with the food, the fantastic service and the view. And the tab was considerably less than I had thought it would be. Thanks to the venue and especially the very hard-working staff!

First off Im from the NY/NJ Metro area so I know Great food & Great Service & Great Atmosphere and Waters Edge Restaurant has it all! You're making a HUGE mistake if you don't check them out. The Menu is extensive and delicious, service is great and the atmosphere is tremendous. The restaurant is on the water and the Sunsets are off the chart!!! Great place for special occassion and date night.

Went on a Thursday for the live music which was nice, however the kitchen and wait staff seemed to be short and overwhelmed. It took appx 45 mins to place an order and another hour+ to receive the food which was only mediocre at best.

Our food was great but our server, Marcus, really made the night!! He gave us the best service I’ve had in a long time. He was attentive, kind, funny, and genuine. Ask for Marcus and you will have a terrific time!
Great waiter he held conversation with us about local places to eat and drink as well as what towns are great to visit as tourists, overall great experience, strong drinks and delectable food.
Thank you Jessie B and team! We came here on a weekend trip and stayed at the Sheepscot Harbor Resort next door. The whole staff made us (and our 1-year-old) feel extremely welcomed from minute one, the service was the best we've had anywhere. From drinks, to our food, to the live music, we had a fantastic time and can't wait to come back. I recommend the blackberry mule.
Waters edge has a great vibe. They have the most breathtaking view overlooked the water and beautiful sunsets. The staff is so friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. They have a great gluten-free menu option and drinks are perfect.
Went for their special prix fixe Valentine’s dinner, $75 a person. Not worth it at all. First, they had no hostess and no bar tender. The staff was overwhelmed to say the least. The salads were tasty, as was the lobster bisque, and which was a tad salty. The onion soup was just beef broth, a few onions and a sad piece of toast. We both had the filet mignon, which while cooked correctly, was only about 1/2 “ thick. And they were absolutely smothered in a Gorgonzola sauce. Looked more like a white gravy you would serve with country fried steak. My wife had the passion fruit flan which she said was bitter. The cheesecake was ok. This whole meal took over 2 hours, and would probably still be there if I didn’t flag down the one busboy for our check. We had one waitress who took our order, never to be seen again at our table until she asked if we wanted more wine when we were waiting for our check. The poor woman bringing out the courses had no clue who had what… felt bad for her. The original waitress never once checked in with us. I would expect a thin steak covered in cheese sauce at Applebees, not for $75 a person. Total bill for two with each having a class of wine was $183 before tip. They advertised this as a “romantic setting complete with soft candlelight to set the perfect mood”. Think cafeteria style lighting with no candles anywhere. No romance whatsoever. This would be a disaster of a first date.
Never again shall we dine there. Oh, and the parking lot….
The horror, the horror.
