This place has four cask ales on tap at a time!! Delicious beer (cask or otherwise), great food, friendly service. Updating to say how special this place is. They have real English toasties and pies, and jacket potatoes. We've never had a bad meal.

We absolutely LOVE this place! The staff is so friendly, and the food is AMAZING!! We highly recommend the Loaded Potato Soup, Beer Cheese and Chips and English Garden Salad! I'm sure our list of recommendations could go on and on! This place is a definite return to spot when we are in town!

I tried the pb stout, nitro red ale, and claddagh stout. All were excellent but I went back to the pb stout, it was really good! They do 5, 10, and 16 ounce pours, making it easy to try a few. The food was great. I got the roast beef and horseradish panini. My husband got the spaghetti and meatball dinner special. I didn’t get that because I make really good meatballs and haven’t found many places make them better. This place made them better. Next time I make meatballs I’m going to try to cooy these. The chef was kind enough to share his recipe. It’s a small place that has the comfortable feel of a welcoming neighborhood pub. The bartender was also the server and did an excellent job taking care of everyone. Next time we’re in Ellsworth, I’ll definitely go back.

Best experience in a pub in a very long time! Christina was helpful with our food order and beer selection (if available, go with a cask pour). Food was delicious, service was beyond excellent. This pub is AWESOME!!! Sarah was our bartender and she was amazing and so much fun to chat with! She let us sample several different beers at no charge and made some great recommendations. The peanut butter beer was incredible! My boyfriend and I also shared the pretzels with pub cheese appetizer and it was outstanding. We will absolutely be back!

In ellsworth it's small and quaint. On the airline it's a bit bigger. I like the atmosphere is ellsworth a bit better but both places have good food and service and a great selection of
Had a great time here. We loved how we could choose between different sizes for draft beers which is great if you want something smaller than a 16oz or want to try any number of their brews and thus we tried five different beers instead of just one. I thought they were all great. Chili cheese nachos done excellently, better than any we’ve had in the area. Like the atmosphere too. Thanks Max for friendly and personable service.

Is this a real restaurant or just a private club for the local beer drinkers. We were told no coffee, no sugar, no lemon, etc. Treated rudely and left which seems to be a common theme here. I did may $ 4 for an ice tea which I did not

The server, Christina, came off a bit rude and even turned away a few customers on a busy Saturday night. Seemed weird since there are only about 10 tables in the place to immediately say to the customers sorry, we cannot serve you. Then after they leave, she says I knew they didn’t want beer and wanted craft cocktails so this was not the place for them. Airline needs to make improvements to their serviceBeer was tasty and Food was excellent so kudos to the chef!
