Excellent food and beverages! I order here almost on a weekly basis! They are my go to spot for just about anything I am craving.
Today I ordered breakfast and had a friend scoop up the order for me while I was at work. That friend didn’t realize my drink wasn’t with my order upon delivering. Lovely place for coffee and snacks. We got there right at closing time, and although they were no longer serving made-to-order food, they were more than accommodating on coffee and ready-to-eat snacks.
I had one of the best, if not the best, iced lattes ever here. Order the blueberry cobbler with sweat cream. You won’t be disappointed!

Based on the reviews, Jardin's Java (Flexit Cafe) is a fantastic find and a quintessential local coffee boutique in Ellsworth. A woman-owned small business, it offers a warm and inviting atmosphere with local artwork throughout the space. The staff is incredibly friendly, communicative, and proactive.
The menu features delicious food. Specific meals mentioned include bacon breakfast burritos, sausage breakfast burritos, avocado toast, a Banh Mi, a tofu bahn mi, and a BLT. The breakfast burritos were a standout with a spot-on veggie-to-meat ratio and pickled red onions adding the perfect pop of flavor. Coffee drinks are very good, with a London Fog that was perfect and an iced coffee that was bold, smooth, and full of flavor. Matcha lattes are also perfect.
The vibe is cozy and welcoming, bustling in-season and more languid in the off-season. It is kid friendly and a great spot for a quick coffee and pastry or a fresh takeout salad. The compostable cups and lids are a nice touch.
