“The best coffee shop in Ellsworth by far. Great ambiance with a cool vibe. Locally owned & operated with a nice intergenerational mix of people gathering personally & professionally. The coffee is excellent (and strong), the deserts divine, and the soup & sandwiches to die for. Plenty of prepared deserts, sandwiches, and snacks to go as well. My favourite in-house sandwich is the Cubano but we've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered.“
“I’ve never liked the coffee at governors in Ellsworth.. and I love coffee with my breakfast!. Today my friend Staci encouraged me to try the coffee. She said we changed it’s!I’m now on my 2nd cup and can sit here and drink it for the next two hours!Well OK that’s a little overkill but I am so happy to finally be able to drink coffee at governors and it’s absolutely delicious. I have no idea what kind it is and I’m not even going to ask!All I know is it was delicious! Thanks governors for changing your coffee and making it better tasting in my opinion! Those of you that like the governors coffee before it is so much better..Your staff it’s so kind and sweet and sincere… the service is always great and the food is really good (thanks Chefs) Thank you from one satisfied customer!Vegetarian options: Eggplant would be awesome!“
“I love every thing about Momo's Cheesecakes. The entire experience is wonderful. The business is run entirely on the honor system. There are so many different kinds of cheesecakes to choose from kind that it's a bit overwhelming, but you can always find something. I have a gluten allergy and I love that Momos has many options for us gluten-free folks as well. Today we bought the GF Turtle and GF Classic Cherry cheesecake along with a Strawberry and a Raspberry White Chocolate. I admit the slices are pricey at $8.50 a slice, but frankly, the cheesecake is so good that it's worth every penny. The shop is a converted garage and is great fun to go in and choose your favorite flavor. We are from CT and Momo's is always one of our first stops when we come to visit.“
