The best coffee shop in Ellsworth by far. Great ambiance with a cool vibe. Locally owned & operated with a nice intergenerational mix of people gathering personally & professionally. The coffee is excellent (and strong), the deserts divine, and the soup & sandwiches to die for. Plenty of prepared deserts, sandwiches, and snacks to go as well. My favourite in-house sandwich is the Cubano but we've never been disappointed with anything we've ordered.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat before going hiking. Service was rather slow and the food was just ok. They were out of most of their baked goods and getting a hot dish seemed like it would take a long time.

Nice coffee. We ordered hot chocolate and pumpkin latte. The hot chocolate was a little too sweet but rest was good. The blueberry coffee cake was fantastic. The major think we loved was the ambience of the shop. It was great and would definitely recommend it.

Super cute cafe and the staff was all lovely. Had a gluten free breakfast sandwich that was delicious and a cappuccino with the perfect amount of foam ?? Lots of pastries, pies, and grab and go meals as well. Choices of organic and gluten free too- always a plus! Would recommend if in there area.

Great cafe. Stopped on our way from the airport to Bar Harbor for some coffee and a sandwich. I got the Black House sandwich and my husband got the BLT. We both enjoyed them and the pickles were great. I also got a cold brew with oat milk. It was strong coffee, not watery or over iced.

Despite being insanely busy, we got our food pretty quickly and it was super good. I've never had vegan sausage before and it was actually really good. Definitely a nice little place to stop in.

Quaint little coffee shop. Good coffee. The salmon breakfast sandwich on everything bagel was really tasty. It was worth the stop.

We were leaving town and grabbed breakfast on the way out. My husband got the Main Street breakfast sandwich and I had the basic breakfast sandwich. There was a little mix up and they switched the meats on our sandwiches but they made it right. They also had sriracha which was nice. The cafe is cute with tables in the front and a cozier section in the back with a couch. They also had an assortment of pastries and pies.

Flexit recently catered a birthday cocktail hour and everyone raved about how good the food was. Paul is a delight to work with!

Ordered a breakfast sandwich called something silly like a "main Street" or something. Just a basic egg, cheese and sausage. Came on what amounted to a hamburger bun. The egg was cold, like refrigerator temp, the sausage patty lacked any signs that it was cooked on a griddle or pan. Pretty sure it was microwaved and they somehow forgot to microwave the egg patty which was clearly also not cooked to serve but likely made the night before in the oven in round molds.I would have gone to McDonald's if that's what I was looking for and paid 1.99 not 8.50.Coffee was about what you'd expect from this type of place, decent.Service was above average in a post COVID world but only average compared to pre pandemic expectations.
