This place has gone downhill since first opening. The server was rude this evening and didn't seem to care that we barely touched our food. No checking in to see how we were. Yes your food will come fast, scorching hot plates as if sitting in the window ready to go. We threw everything we ordered away tonight, total waste of $90.

This restruant had extremely good food that came in about 5 minutes after ordering. The atmosphere was great with mexican themed items everywhere. There are so many people also eating here. My only critique is that they forgot to bring out my tacos but after I told them they came back soon.

I enjoyed this restaurant. The portions were great. I got the steak dish that was recommended by the restaurant and it was pretty good. Only downside is that I asked for hot sauce and I think they charged us for it even though I just wanted Cholula (which I later saw at another table lol)

I also tried the quesabirria which was pretty good too.

The food was good but the tortillas were extremely unauthentic. The chips and salsa were not so great. The chips tasted stale and the salsa tasted more like tomato sauce than an actual salsa. The service was okay, our waiter never came back to ask if we wanted to go boxes or drinks. The restaurant is beautiful and has a great atmosphere.

This is arguably the best Mexican food experience you can get anywhere in Maine. It’s affordable , it’s fast, it tastes delicious, and the service is impeccable and friendly. Taco Tuesdays never disappoint. Neither does any day for that matter. I would know, I’m here 8 days a week. Their food is so good that the only other Mexican place within a 25 mile radius of Ellsworth shut down because of how embarrassing they were in comparison. I will go to war for Casa Jalisco. - Dade Hawkins, Professional Eater

Our waitress had a terrible attitude and was not attentive to our table at all. We had to ask for a cup of water more than 3 times while other tables asked for stuff and she got it for them everytime. Our food was extremely bland, the street corn is pathetic and has ZERO seasoning (tajin) or cojita cheese like it’s supposed to and the consommé for the Quesabirria was like water, ZERO flavor. Also ONE lime wedge for an entire serving of quesabirrias is ridiculous. 0/10 do NOT recommend. You want good Mexican ? Go to Las Palapas off Hogan road in Bangor Maine. It knocks this hole in the wall out of the water. Only ONE older gentleman was kind to us and attentive.

The food was good but the service wasn’t. I probably wouldn’t go back for anything other than takeout.
