Stopped in to Martha's Diner on our way to Acadia National Park. On one of the hottest days of the year and despite the fact the diner has no AC, it was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time. Simple scrambled with bacon but with fresh Maine blueberry pancakes for me and my wife had ham and eggs with the biggest slab of ham I have ever seen on a breakfast plate. Best diner I've been to in a long time! Everything from the service to the food was fantastic! I had the sausage gravey and biscuits with scrambled eggs and home fries. To say the least, it was a meal. The gravey and biscuits were so flavorful ( the best I've had in many years ). The eggs were delicious, and the home fries were cooked and seasoned to perfection.

What a fun place! Really busy, but they kept the line moving and service was efficient. Matt was our server and very speedy and attentive to everyone - great to see someone with so much energy! The food was very good. My husband had the blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup - heavenly (he shared a little with me). I hade the LaMoine omelette and it was tasty and plentiful.
