Recent Reviews

Really neat atmosphere in downtown Ellsworth. The food is excellent, we had the Rueben, Grilled Chicken Sandwhich and Haddock Chowder. The corned beef is delicious. The Finn's chips were tasty although I should have grabbed a dip. That would have definitely upped the game on those. As would be expected of an Irish pub the alcoholic beverage selection is very good. We had no trouble with parking and the parking was free. I will add the caveat that this was early November....

My wife and I went here after a matinee at The Grand. I had the boiled dinner and my wife had the fish and chips. We were both happy with the quality and quantity. The chips of my wife's fish and chips are house made, American style, potato chips, not French fry style.

We were fortunate enough to get their one window seat in a small alcove. We had a wonderful view of the street and the noise level was less than other areas. Fish and chips was great, but it was literally potato chips, not fries as most expect. Overall we had a great time there, happy with everything.
