Main person didn’t great us upon walking in and when asked if the sign behind her was the menu, she waited to then say I was confusing her. Didn’t give any details about what they offer and what they make here at all. Won’t be going in here again and makes sense they are always closed until tourists come to give that $$$. Have some decency towards locals in these “speciality” businesses. Yikes.
The baked goods are fine. The one-Star reviews that critique the “atmosphere” of signs are just absurd touchy boomers whining about the world of that day not revolving around their every sensitive whim such as they expect. Like complaining about a cold draft at a hockey game. The only relevant metric here is the food, nobody is going to have a wedding reception or club meeting there. Boomer reviews are hilarious though “I didn’t like their tone…” or whatever sort of nonsense, the type of people who complain every time a waitress asks them if everything is alright and who send back soup for being “too cold”. Those are the sort who leave 1-stars because of signage.
We met the owner son. He was very chatty and made us fresh coffee and talked about the goodies. He brought our the sausage from the back for us to see and explained about each one. I sat in and had a treat and took one to go. Will be back.
Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs and very open.

Good selection of baked goods, and gifts. You can tell the owner uses authentic German recipes for her creations. Nice cafe too.
Great treats!
Fun little spot to try something new!
Excellent cakes and bake goods! Be back soon!

Delicious German treats, many of which I remember from my time spent overseas as a child. Very affordable.
Delicious. And, respectful of all customers. Thank you!

No masks needed. Even during pandemic.
Nice spot for German made and treats and goodies!!
The place is cleanI felt like it was an Unfriendly atmosphere as there were rules on the wall of what NOT to ask the staff.Be sure to read and obey all the rules and perhaps your experience will be nicer. As for the taste of the food I do not know i felt unwelcome and left.
Genuinely felt like our service wasn't wanted. Rather than informational signs they put a lot of work into telling you "what not to ask our staff." Very unfortunate experience.
German treats!
