We stopped by Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar for a post-hike treat on a Sunday evening. It was cash only, with no seating options - just a little window to order at. Unfortunately, they had run out of Blueberry Pie Ice Cream, so we settled for a Cherry Milkshake and Maple Walnut Ice Cream. Service was lukewarm but very quick. The Maple Walnut Ice Cream ended up being just okay, but we absolutely loved the Cherry Milkshake - so flavorful and tasty! Overall, a good experience.
CASH ONLY!With that being said, what is with the reviews that state the ice cream is pricey or expensive? The portions are enormous, the price is reasonable, plus if you don't like it just go to the grocery store and grab a gallon for subpar. This is a local small business, not a nationwide chain...The girls behind the counter tonight were super efficient and friendly. WHAT AN AMAZING ROADSIDE ICE CREAM STAND! Top of the New England food list for me was something with blueberries and this knocked it out of the park. Ample serving for a reasonable price. Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the weather while savoring one's treat. The ice cream was rich, not icy, and the blueberry flavor tasted very real versus manufactured. Service was friendly.
