They went out of business some time ago and didn't bother to indicate that on their facebook page. No wonder they're gone...they paid attention to their food orders about as well as they pay attention to their social media.

Mac and cheese sauce tasted floury. The chicken alfredo with sun dried tomatoes had a good alfredo sauce but the chicken was very dry and no sun dried tomatoes. Wait staff not very attentive, no attempts to fill drinks and only once right after dropping off food (about 30 seconds) did any one check on us. Portions are large.

YES. YES. YES! Holy moly, loved the friendly, just-right service and can highly recommend the fried scallops. Look at how huge these are! EIGHT! And cooked just to Perfection. I ate half and have been snacking from the go-box - heck, even cold, they're great. Fries were hot, Cole Slaw tasty. I only used lemon - the scallops were so lightly sweet, no sauce was needed. A great experience, highly recommended.

We are visiting Bar Harbor and just found the tourist crowded town too much. We strayed into Ellsworth on errands and stopped in to the turtle for dinner. It's so good! They aren't trying to empress you with fancy presentations just serve good local seafood cooked well. I had the stuffed haddock dinner and my husband ate the haddock Rueben. The fish was delightful fluffy and light with really well done stuffing.
First time there tonight and will go back! We both had the Seafood Alfredo and it was excellent! The flavor was amazing and more then we could both eat!! Our service was good and had a great dinner!

Fast service and kind, attentive staff. However, the food was decidedly poor. A simple mac and cheese had no flavor and even after opting out of certain options (chicken, bacon, etc), we were still charged full price.

Food was good with good portions. Overall service was a bit slow but acceptable. Waitress was great and accommodating to our needs as well as the chef. As an added plus, they had a very good GF bread for my sandwich. Ambiance needs to be upgraded one notch, alitle noisy and harsh display lighting between the bar area and booths for eating. Parking is limited and not well indicated... We parked in the back hotel parking area. Entry to restaurant is obvious once you find it, but I thought I was entering the hotel until I opened the door and took several steps inside.
