I just had lunch at Tea Pond the other day. Awesome menu, nice bar. Shaved prime rib sandwich was fantastic, poutine (proper poutine), homemade onion rings and chips. 5-6 beers on tap, many craft brew cans. The place is beautiful.I can't say much about the cabins as we just came for lunch though, but if they're half as good as the lodge, they'll be awesome.The place is off grid, but you'd never know it - they have full lighting. Two generators and solar panels...
The restaurant has very charming decor and atmosphere, but I can't say much for the menu, the prices or the cook. My husband ordered a medium rare prime rib and it was over-cooked and not very flavorful. I ordered salmon and it was cold and raw inside. The waitress took it back for me and then it was cooked enough to eat. I would expect to pay a little more at this out of the way spot, but 2 drinks, 1 appetizer and 2 meals was over $110. We vacation in that area about once...
Have been there for lunch several times by snowmobile. Food is excellent. A variety to choose from. Beautiful lodge n very friendly staff. Looking forward to dinner there in the summer. One of my favorite places to visit n eat
