I hadn't been to Hillmans bakery in quite some time. It is still the place to go in and around Fairfield. They have a wonderful variety of desserts and home-made breads and rolls/biscuits. The staff is always very friendly and helpful! If you want to satisfy a craving or find a new favorite treat, give Hillmans Bakery a try!

Every time I’m in Fairfield, I make sure to stop at Hillman’s Bakery and it’s all about the blueberry Bismarks for me. They’re hands-down the best I’ve ever had. They are light, fluffy, and filled with the perfect balance of sweet and tart blueberry goodness.
The place smells amazing, and everything they bake looks tempting. But those Bismarks? They’re the reason I keep coming back. If you haven’t tried one yet, you’re missing out on a little slice of Maine heaven.
