“First time eating here was a first rate dinner. Are a lunch meal here, fantastic. Staff went out of there way to keep you happy. Servings were more than I could eat. Yes, take exit 133 turn towards Skowhehan less than a mile on the right. It's worth a stop. Locals said there breakfasts are wonderful.”

You would never even know they’re gluten free. The taste and quality are incredible, and my daughter was SO excited to finally find something that feels like a “real” treat and not a compromise. “Having traveled to over 100 countries, including living and studying in Vietnam, I’m now settled back in Central Maine for work. I don’t tend to eat out much—I generally prefer to cook for myself, as I haven’t found many places around here that really interest me. Pho Appetite is a very happy exception. I’m so glad I found this place. It’s become my go-to when I want a good, fast, and healthy dinner but don’t have time to cook. Tendon might sound adventurous to some, but I highly recommend the Pho Steak, Brisket & Tendon (Pho Tái Gầu Gân). I also love their cold-cut bánh mì sandwiches, and they have a nice selection of Oolong and green teas as well. A real gem in Central Maine.”

“We recently spent an incredible Saturday afternoon at Bigelow Brewery. We enjoyed local beers and live music with friends and family. The atmosphere was relaxed and extremely welcoming. That said, I got a little carried away with my dancing and in the process lost my anniversary ring outside. This ring has tremendous sentimental value and I was devastated. I spoke with Zuzu and Jerzey who were working at the brewery that night and they couldn’t have been nicer. After closing they went outside, scoured the area and found the ring under a pile of leaves. We live in a time where people are untrusting and we often assume the worst in others. Zuzu and Jerzey’s caring, honesty and character is a shining example that people are inherently good. I can’t thank these two beautiful young ladies enough. Bigelow Brewery is a family business that represents old school values - please go visit them!”

“Everything I've had has been wonderful! Both Appetizer Platters (meat and veg) offer a satisfying variety of options to share. I tried Mango Lamb on a whim, and it has become my go-to meat dish. Their Malai Kofta (my favorite vegetarian dish) was great, too. Garlic Naan is outstanding, and the Gulab Jamon is worth saving room for!”
