“My fiancé and I went there today to grab some lunch for our very first time and I cannot say enough positive thingsThe staff was very welcoming & friendly the service was extremely quick.The atmosphere was very clean and we love the setup of the business itself.We ordered a side of mozzarella sticks and a Chicken tender basket and all I can say is WOW, the food was phenomenal and we’re definitely looking forward to going back!I highly recommend this place to everyone!Thank you to the owners/workers for excellent customer service”

“I truly enjoy dining at the Two Cent! I typically only go on trivia nights to kill two birds with one stone, and I'm never disappointed. The owner is amazing and a heck of a hard worker, but she will always take time to thank you - or even chat for a sec if things aren't too busy. Food is great. The servers are always kind and attentive. The atmosphere is a fun pub vibe. And they have events most days they are open. “During a snow storm and a youth basketball tournament we stopped in with 20+ people hoping they would feed us! Many places were closed due to the weather but Rita’s did not disappoint! The food was great, service top notch as they pulled another table out for us to have extra space for the team to eat. I highly recommend and will definitely come back when in the area. “This is my "go to" Chinese restaurant.Portions are always decent, hot and tasty. A few notes that I've discovered:The "health food" options are just steamed or boiled vegetables with limited seasoning. If you are looking for something light, this isn't likely the place to go.When ordering take out, they use Styrofoam which is banned in Maine. Unlike other, compliant restaurants that are using higher quality containers we regularly receive food that is leaking out of the bag, or is hot enough to melt some of the foam. This small change would likely cost them money however, and wouldn't result in the same overstuffed containers that we are used to.”

“Pretty standard dunkin' donuts nothing really special to say if you're going for donuts don't go in the evening or afternoon because selection will be slim. But America definitely runs on Duncan.”

“Went through drive thru usually they are fairly quick. However, sometimes it takes forever to get your order and lately it seems as if every time I go the price has increased a little bit only to go a few days later and order the same thing and again the price increased. Not sure what is up with this but its making it harder to afford to go here.”

“The food is never a disappointment. I had eggplant and rice. My friend ordered the chicken curry and rice. Additionally each came with a side salad. The rice was plentiful, delicious and fluffy. Each of us enjoyed the flavors of our meals. There was plenty to eat and not counting tip each was less then 10 dollars. There is also a unique market to wander before or after your meal. “They have some of the best coffee and it's really nice to have a cafe in the area where you can sit and sip for a while. Their pastries are good, but nothing too spectacular and you never know which ones will be in stock. I find their cakes to be a little dry and overly sweet, although the lemon cake frosting tends to even that out. It's not somewhere I go regularly, but it's good for special occasions; the pastry boxes and tea time sets are very nice.”

“This place had an interesting atmosphere. The food was good and presented well. The waitress was super friendly and accommodating.Parking: They screwed with the parking situation downtown in an attempt at gentrification to appeal to the college crowd's families. This resulted in far worse traffic and fewer parking spots. You may have to park in the Goodwill parking lot and walk, if there is room there.”

“I'm almost afraid to post this as I don't want to let the secret out. First time in, we stopped in for brunch. Had THE BEST sausage gravy I've ever had, and it's something I try everywhere I go. The wife even liked it, and she is normally not a fan. It was served over the most delicious, crunchy sourdough toast. Amazing! She had the steak bomb breakfast burrito and we both loved it. They didn't have hot coffee, but their iced coffee was a pretty good substitute. Waitstaff was pleasant, helpful, and very friendly. We will definitely be back to try lunch and dinner. Love the historic theme. It showcases an important part of the state's history in a really classy and tasteful way.Kid-friendliness: Strong pub vibes, so not really aimed at kids. No kids menu for brunch. That being said. We brought our 5 year old grandson. They were very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. He had their French toast and bacon with chocolate milk(in a glass, but we made it work) He really enjoyed the river jack theme and we spent our meal looking at the photos and log Amp on the walls and talking about log drives”

“First time eating here was a first rate dinner. Are a lunch meal here, fantastic. Staff went out of there way to keep you happy. Servings were more than I could eat. Yes, take exit 133 turn towards Skowhehan less than a mile on the right. It's worth a stop. Locals said there breakfasts are wonderful.”

“Sunrise has the best bagels in central Maine. Their sandwiches are awesome, too. The Hathaway and Sherwin are personal favorites. The Kennebec is the best pork roll you’ll find north of Jersey.”

“Best Haddock basket by far. I hate fish. My husband is from England and only eats fish and chips, it looked so good I asked for a bite and I can't wait to go back and get my own. The fish is moist, flaky, buttery, Melts in your mouth. The husband says it's the best around in our area. Friendly staff and clean environment.”

“The Jewel of India is a locally owned non chain restaurant. They do a great job with friendly service and serving really amazing food. The staff does a great job of describing the menu and making sure your not getting a hot dish if your palette can't take it, buuut they will also kick up the heat if that's what u like. If your in waterville check this place out. It's well worth the stop.Dietary restrictions: Even though the menu doesn't say it they have lots of gluten free options. So ask your server about that.”

“Ordered takeout online and food was ready when it said it would be. Everything was still nice and warm by the time we got it home. Fries were crispy (I could have had more), no complaints on the steak bombs, and the wings were good too (didn't see an option online to get a side of ranch or anything, that would be nice). We'll definitely be back to try some other items. Prices are affordable.”
