A very caring owner - cares deeply about the quality of his food and the quality of service of the customers. We have been loyal fans of his food, for decades, when he ran his Beale St. BBQ restaurant in Bath, which sadly no longer exists. He has a a FB page with information about pop up openings - Follow them closely and try to arrive at the beginning of his opening, he sells out FAST! It's a take out spot in Fairfield with plenty of parking given the fact people are picking up their food and leaving. We love everything he serves! literally everything on the menu! St. Louis Ribs, Brisket, Pork Shoulder, Mac and Cheese, Cabbage/Carrot side, Cornbread. So comforting and so delicious. We highly recommend stopping by when he is open.

My husband and I just cannot find good food, this place looked promising, we ordered a whole rack of ribs, they were undercooked, no flavor and hard to chew. After we thought about it - when we were there -we never even smelled any smokey bbq smells coming from the place, its almost like he cooked this at home in his kitchen oven and brought it to his food truck to barely keep warm in a steam table.This. Was. Not. Smoked meat, it was like he got it from the warmer at the grocery store. The mac n cheese was obviously boxed and again ZERO SMOKE FLAVOR anywhere to be found. ….Pineapple coleslaw? All equally as flavorless. Im embarrassed again for local Maine food. Its terrible. This food would be best served in a cafeteria somewhere - another $30 bites the dustPlease do not call yourself a pit boss and learn how to cook

Take out location with some outside seating. Open Friday, Sat, Sun 12pm-8pmWe ordered Spicy Smoked Sausage, Sliced Beef Brisket and a side of Meaty Chili Beans. Hubby says Sausage has great flavor and would definitely order it again, the chili is also good. I ordered the brisket which had good flavor but a little on the dry side unless you add sauce, the cornbread was great. Neither of us were fans of the slaw unfortunately.

This is the best bbq we have found local in the area! We have tried the beef, the pulled pork and the ribs so far! The owner is really nice! They ran out of coleslaw and he gave us a sausage in place of it. The key lime pie is to die for!!! Nice and tart! Sooooo good! Thank you so much!
