BEST corn beef hash I have ever had in my life. I live in Colorado and we had brunch here while we were visiting friends in Maine. Corn beef hash is my favorite breakfast and when I ordered it here, I realized it’s the best I’ve ever had, by a landslide. It’s a meal I order often at many places, and it’s never been so amazing as it was as Purple Cow!!! I wish they could mail it me in Colorado!

This place is hit or miss. I've had the best burger ever from here, but I've also had memorably horrible hash from here as well. But the prices are reasonable, it's worth spending the money on the gamble. It's hit or miss - but if you like a swiss cheeseburger with mushrooms and fixings you could experience something AMAZING here or you could experience a flop of a burger. I'll keep trying, each time hoping to get the amazing.

I eat here all the time. From the food to the service everything is great and they even gave my kids lolly pops on our exit

Terrible service. Waited 20 min to get drinks, never offered coffee refills, had to get creamer off another table because waitress never brought any over when she said she would. After finally ordering, took an hour to get our food, food was cold, one plate had hair in the hash, waitress never once came back to ask how the food was, just came back after a while and asked “how are you paying?” Finally got our checks and then went up front to pay and they all of a sudden changed the amount saying they “forgot” to add our drinks the first time. Do better purple cow, that was awful.

An authentic American diner with good food and large portions. I forgot my jacket here on my road trip through New England, called the restaurant after 2 days and asked to have the jacket mailed to my next hotel. Jessica answered the phone right away and happily did it for me, so grateful!!!

Called to place "an order of blueberry pancakes" dude on the phone was incredibly rude and said we DONT do order of pancakes it goes by the number. I order one pancake and he hung up. Call was also very low volume.

Giant griddle pancakes and all the breakfast fixings you can want. Been coming here for the last two years and have enjoyed the home comforts each time. Quirky, non-presumptive setting with friendly wait staff and quick service. Will be coming here as long as I am in central Maine.
