“What an epic experience! I don't know many better settings in Maine. The owner, Molly, has created a perfect atmosphere with delectable, homestyle food. The chef, from Texas, sure nows how to throw down. While my husband and I enjoyed lovely happy hour martinis, our son was outside helping make pizzas and saying hello to the goats. Bravo to a wonderful place. Can't get more "Maine" than eating in the cutest barn and farm house while being served by the friendliest staff on the most beautiful pond side property chockfull of animals. Will come back ASAP!“

Having awesome food for our wedding was really important to us, and 58 Culinary absolutely nailed it. “It is not often that I have a chance to attend a strictly kosher wedding at a venue in Portland, Maine. I went to such a wedding last night at the Italian Heritage Center and it was fabulous! It was a multi-faceted event and included 400 guests. Everything came off without a hitch as far as the guests could see, but I am sure that it was much more difficult for those behind the scenes. A big shout out needs to go to Nikki Cox and her staff for pulling this off. I know that it was not easy but they did a great job! I highly recommend IHC for anyone looking for a wedding venue where they know what to do and can get the job done right!“

“Backyard wedding dinner & reception for about 50 guests in central Maine.
We had the BEST night ever because we worked with black tie. I can barely articulate the zillion reasons this was the best choice of our whole planning experience, but a few points:
- Our guests are still raving about the food days later. 12/10 stars to the chef, cooks, bartenders, and servers who were complete all-stars.
- Since this was at our home, our genius planner Heather coordinated ALL of the rentals for the party & catering team with Wallace Events/One Stop and made it incredibly easy.
- We asked for a few customizations, like we wanted a few of our favorite beers on tap and our own wine selections - they honored every single one of our requests - big and small - and just made it happen!“

“From the moment we stepped onto Caswell Farm, we knew we had found our venue! Admittedly, this was in January and it was under a foot of snow, but we could easily see that it was the best place for us to bring our vision of our day to life! The venue captures both the beauty and history of Maine with the stunning original barn and gorgeous flower garden. Catherine welcomed us with open arms and was always ready with an answer to a question, a solution to an issue, or just a brilliant and interesting conversation. On top of all that is an amazing in-house caterer (Barn and Table) and bar (The Bar Association) team, an adorable farmhouse to stay in and get ready at, plus on-site camping for your guests – it’s a perfect combination for a cohesive, gorgeous wedding. We hosted our intimate rehearsal dinner, welcome party, wedding ceremony, reception, and farewell brunch on site, and we are so glad we had the option to have one amazing location to gather our loved ones at for a weekend. We cannot recommend Caswell enough. It’s a really special place filled with wonderful people, and you’ll want to keep coming back for more (we certainly do!).“

“We visited on a late Saturday afternoon in mid-June 2025.

We found street parking a couple blocks away. The cafe is in the basement of the museum near the bathrooms and water fountains. There is a large meeting room or lecture all auditorium thing we believe too just further down the basement.

We did not actually eat anything here but we did take a bunch of pictures hoping to help others out. We actually didn't see any staff while we visited and we weren't sure if they were already closed for the day or what.“
