Aki Sushi Tapas Boba in downtown Freeport is a hidden gem with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is always nice, super friendly, and attentive. The food is consistently well served and absolutely delicious. Great food, great service, and great atmosphere are consistently noted. The 4 specialty rolls were phenomenal, and the udon noodles were delicious. The chicken yakitori was phenomenal. The pork belly bao buns were a little taste of heaven with housemade puffy cloud like buns. The soba noodles were fresh, steaming hot, and outstanding. Other items like scallion pancake, stir fried baby bok choy, Red Sox maki, chicken fried rice, seaweed salad, crab salad, mido soup, shrimp dumplings, volcano rolls, and spider rolls are all very good. The sushi is fresh and delicious. It is pricey but well worth it.
