Decided to give this restaurant a try. Judging by how busy it was and the food I can understand why it is so popular. Staff was helpful in suggesting dishes to try.Lots of drink options to choose from for the beer lover.
What an absolutely fantastic place!! Plenty of seating and everything is so tasty. And the prices are extremely reasonable. Definitely check it out!Kid-friendliness: Huge kids menu and our kiddo loved the chicken tenders

Wow! GRITTY'S in Freeport IS BETTER!!!I was happy since I had not been to Gritty's in a few years.The French fries with the Fish and Chips (not nearly enough provided, but it was okay) were not only gross, but they were soggy, greasy, and tasted like old fryer oil. That was my only disappointment because...My Husband's meal (Lamb Burger, delivered simultaneously) had COMPLETELY different FRIES, and THEY WERE FRESH, not soggy or greasy, and had NO fryer oil taste.I have never understood...read full review
