Joel and his team made for a fantastic shopping experience! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to help us find exactly what we were looking for. The store has an amazing selection of high-quality spices, teas, seasonings, and unique gifts, and everything is beautifully organized. You can tell Joel genuinely cares about his customers and is passionate about what he does. If you’re in the Freeport area, this is definitely worth a stop. We’ll absolutely be back! Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing! I originally came back for the 'sinfully cherry green tea' (its so good!) But I picked up a new tea today. The flavor is *chefs kiss* extravagant - 'a good day for rose white tea' is highly recommended! (With the rose sugar, it makes a wonderfully floral taste and aroma) The shop itself is so inviting and the selection is spectacular, so many things to choose from! The staff is very helpful and so friendly, I'm very excited to return.

Joel is such a great person to meet with a passion for what he does , with over 160 spices there’s no way you won’t find something you’ll enjoy !

Great store. I love their wide variety of high quality teas, sugars, and spices. The employees are very happy to help. I ordered an iced tea and Tati made it very quickly and it was so good. Will definitely continue to shop here

I love this tea store chain but this location is the best! The service is great and the owner told me how to brew my favorite tea i restocked for an iced tea! I also like the options of different spice combinations and sugars!

I love the Spice & Tea Exchange in Freeport! It's an experience the moment you walk in the store, accompanied by knowledgeable and inviting staff and high quality products. Joel was my tea tour guide, and made it such an easy experience! If you value loose leaf teas, tea accessories, and spices, this place is for you!

Bright, spacious, and genuinely fun to browse — this shop is packed with spices and teas, and you can easily lose track of time just looking around.

What I especially appreciated is that you can actually get properly brewed tea (from real loose leaves), which is rarer than it should be. They also serve solid matcha — not just the “matcha-flavored” stuff — and it’s a great way to reset your mood in the middle of outlet shopping.

One small note: when I visited, I didn’t see much seating, so it may not be the best place for a long, warm indoor break during colder months. But it’s excellent for grabbing a cup to-go — the location is convenient (close to several big parking lots), and it’s a perfect “cup for the road” stop before you head out of Freeport.
