Jameson Point Lobster in tiny Friendship, ME has delicious food - from clam strips, shrimp, lobster, fries, burgers, pies, oysters, clams, awesome ice cream - you name it! Once we finally found the place by accident (it's a few minutes past the longtime Wallace's General Store in downtown Friendship, on the left side of road), we had many a mouth-watering meal there, both dine-in and take-out! The customer service is great, hot food comes out quick and staff is warm and welcoming. You'll find a casual, friendly seafood shack with wooden interior, fun nautical decor, a front counter with tasty sweets, souvenir shirts and bright red picnic tables inside or you can enjoy your food out on the porch. A local family of lobstermen run this place, which is why the food is always so fresh and they really care about quality (Fresh off the boat! YUM!) and their community. They have music some nights and also started offering homemade, take-out dinners to reserve ahead of time, that people in the neighborhood loved. The best-kept secret unless you're a local or a well-informed Airbnb visitor- you won't regret stopping by the popular Jameson Point Lobster for a fabulous, fresh meal!

Typically one of my rules is you need to be able to see the ocean from a seafood place, but this place is worthy of an exception. Food was well done, service was great and the staff was friendly. Definitely worth the trip down there.

We stopped in about 30 minutes before closing and asked if they would be able to accommodate us for dinner. They were very welcoming and provided us quickly with our order-steamers, 3 lobsters, a lobster roll, slaw, and fries. It was all absolutely delicious and a great dining experience. We feel like we’ve found a true hidden gem, and we look forward to coming back soon!!

Great food a little off the beaten path. My friends lobster tacos were the best. I’m a hamburger guy and eat hamburgers all over when I travel and I give the burger an A+ smash burger style. The onion rings are also some of the best I’ve ever tasted. The only suggestion I have for this restaurant is to add more wines to your offering.
