The coffee and pastries are outstanding
Second time coming here and I was so happy to see their fall menu up. Cozy little coffee shop in a bank. They serve breakfast and little bites. I was tied between the tiramisu cold brew and the sweater weather from their fall menu. The tiramisu cold brew was the best I’ve had, and I’ve gone looking in a few niche coffee stores. Service was quick and the staff was able to answer any questions I had. They offer milk alternatives if you need!

Fair Grounds Coffee is a really cool coffee place located in a restored landmark building, previously a bank, in Freyburg. The interior even kept the old safe, adding to its unique and charming atmosphere. The establishment offers delicious beverages, including excellent lattes, as well as creative coffee, tea, and seasonal drinks. While the bagels are no longer available, the staff remains friendly and attentive, though service can be slow when busy. The music can be quite loud, making conversation difficult, and there are limited outlets for charging devices. Parking is also limited, and on busy days like weekends, the line can be about a 15-minute wait with only one restroom available. Despite these minor issues, Fair Grounds Coffee remains a popular spot with a retro vibe, worth the trip for its cool atmosphere and unique drinks. They also offer oatmilk as a non-dairy option.
