If you're in the neighborhood you have got to eat at A1. Let alone the nostalgia of a real classic diner, the food is great and all hand made deserts....what's not to like. Friendly service and a one of a kind location, don't miss it.

Don't judge a book by its cover. This place has amazing food with large portions! The inside is a very cozy little diner. Our waitress was so down to earth and friendly. Highly recommend this diner if you are going through the area!

I love diners and A-1 is top notch. There's regular diner fare but there's also some surprises on the menu. Can't miss with either breakfast or lunch.

If you are driving north or south between downeast and Portland, this is absolutely the best place to get breakfast or lunch. Quick, quality food with impressive range of options. Friendly staff in a classic diner car with booth or bar seating. Good reason to take backroads instead of 295/95. Been stopping here for a few years now and have never been disappointed.

Quaint little old school diner with new school flavor! We had the reuban with horseradish and grilled turkey sandwich with brie and apple butter and arugula. I cannot say better things about the great food, the dessert was spectacular ? and to top it off the service was superb as well 100/10

Stopped in expecting an "ordinary" dinner experience--but we were pleasantly surprised by how sophisticated and delicious the food was! Service was great. Good beer selection. My only complaint is that we were too full to try one of the yummy dessert offerings!
