Excellent food and service. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate last minute reservations, large groups, and special requests (such as outdoor tables). The setting (ocean side cove) is also very nice. Highly recommend.

Great location by the water. The mussels were particularly memorable. Food was good, but definitely pricey.
We sat outside on the deck/porch — if you are scared of bugs etc. I would recommend getting seated inside.

Rolled in with cutoffs and a tshirt and immediately felt right at home. We sat at the bar and were welcomed right away. The. Food. Is. EXCELLENT. Oysters were from right out the back door - incredible. Seafood stew, clam chowder (the best we ever had - not even kidding) and smoked mussel tapenade - all excellent. Great wine and beer list, cocktails too. Good music and not too loud. Great vibe to the place. Owners are great. Attentive and fun and not overly so. They genuinely care about the staff and it shows. Can’t wait to come back.

Lived in the area for 50+ years, never visited the Osprey, shame on me!!! I have visited many coastal restaurants in mid-coast area, and this was such a pleasant surprise for us land lovers (non-seafood eaters), fries were excellent, both sweet potato and regular, views spectacular with an active marina, so cool to see boats coming and going while the seasonal workers doing their job. Met the one of the owners , and he was very personable and polite and shared some backstory, granted we were there at opening to ensure a view (why we go in 1st place), and we expected to sit outside but the inside offerings were so great as well on a perfect Maine summer day, we will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience, we arrived after they closed on a Sunday night and the owner was incredibly kind and welcomed us with open arms. We were very appreciative because everything in the area was closed. Wonderful, friendly service from everyone, oysters were delicious, my MIL loved the clam chowder. My Lazy lobster and sides were delicious. Husband loved the duck. My daughter appreciated the colored pencil selection and the sharpener. Will return on our next trip to Maine for sure!

The food and service were phenomenal, the whole family loved it. Our favorite part was the osprey nest in the water that you could see from your table, they even had binoculars available for bird watching. we were staying the weekend on Georgetown so decided to try it, after that experience we will go out of our way to try it again next time we are in Maine.

An absolutely magical and wonderful dinner and place for dinner. The setting is pretty near perfect. The food was delicious. We had the lobster Caprice, the lobster risotto and scallops. The staff were friendly and attentive. The owner was always checking on us and we had a great conversation after the end of the dinner sitting around the bar discussing what it means to own a local restaurant in a local place and try to support all the locals.

The vibe here is welcoming, real, and genuine. The food and drinks are top notch along with the service. And it all begins with the owners, Zoli and Sarah, who are kind and honest as the day is long. We can’t speak highly enough of them, their crew and this establishment. We will come by every time we are in the area.

Delicious food and so glad you offer vegan and gf options!! I highly recommend trying this place out. Super friendly staff and great family friendly atmosphere. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Can’t go wrong with the view, but it is a restaurant so I should review the food and service! It was our third time there. We started with two order of poutine for the table, because pork belly! Our group had a variety of things including scallops risotto, duck, gnocchi. Everyone loved their meals, as well as the interesting variety of cocktails and mocktails! We will definitely keep coming back!!
UPDATE 2025 - sadly this place has not done well this year. We used to frequent Osprey and our last two visits have been incredibly disappointing.
Two times back we got the burger and fish and chips. Both bland and no flavor.
This last visit we ordered two bowls of clam chowder and poutine fries. So only apps. It took 75 minutes for the food to arrive.
The owner is super kind and the atmosphere is great but it’s not worth your time or money sadly at least for the 2025 season. Go down to Five Islands or stay in Bath.
We love heading down to The Osprey for dinner! The staff is amazing and the food is really fabulous. We especially enjoy the muscles and the chowder… Also the scallops and the lobster rolls… I could go on and on.
We had a lovely time here. The food was of high quality and was prepared quickly. The staff was attentive and the view over the water was typically Maine.
