“Omg such an amazing experience if you get the chance to go do it you won't ever forget it. The owner and his family are so very nice and came around and made sure every guest was ok and provided refreshments when needed. We had such a great time the meal was absolutely amazing then we took a small hike around the island to work it all off.”

“Grazie mille, Nylaina, for your superb advice and help, and to Simone per un cornetto stupendo e uno stirato fanstastico. Still soaring on recollections of savoring Simone's creations and yesterday's time in Solo Pane, the place in which I can get closest to Rome on this side of the Atlantic. Bravissimi a tutti.”

“Only ever gotten take out, but great service each time we’ve picked up our order, always ready on time. We plan to dine in at some point soon, as it seems like a clean and cozy little space. Highly recommend the drunken noodle. I’ve patiently waited for better Thai/Vietnamese food in the greater Brunswick area, and I honestly think this is the best.”
“The clam hunter is by far the best oysters. Steamers were great good times made a good friend of mine eat 120 oysters 10 pounds of steamers farted up a storm, but it was good good times won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!!! Friendly as well, down Maine”
“Booked 2 rooms last minute and so glad I did! This is a waterfront older hotel. Our rooms were spacious, outfitted with refrifg. microwave and small keurig. Both rooms (king and double) were immaculate! The covered waterfront deck was a comfortable nice size and we enjoyed our breakfast there. The motel dining area has lots of table seating with a Waterview for the included breakfast. Coffee was hot and plentiful. I think coffee/tea is available all day. The hotel is an L shape. Our rooms were the last 2 rooms (222 and 223) at the end of the L closest to the road..so our Waterview was an angle view. I think the owners need to plant a evergreen by the road to give some road screening for 223 room. Rooms 101 to 109 overlook the marina. Rooms on 2nd level look over marina. Rooms 112 to 119 and floors sbove overlook the harbor rather then marina.the rooms. And ours 222 and 223 was an angle harbor view. If handicap and need elevator it is in the lighthouse (see photo) Motel location is about a 7 minute ride to Boothbay Main St.. About a 3 min ride to local grocery store and circle k convenience store. I think it is a great location on the harbor away from the crowds yet very close. I like no restaurant as place is quiet in the evening. If you want to walk the footbridge into town the Boothbay Inn is a better location but I much prefer Brown's Wharf. I will be back to stay again and Kudos to the owners for keeping this waterfront motel comfortable, clean and in great condition.Rooms: Large rooms, comfortable seating. Easy rolling slider to Waterview covered deck. Deck furniture clean and comfortable.Nearby activities: Easy 7 min ride to fishermans wharf in Boothbay harborSafety: Felt safe. Parking well lit.Walkability: A bit of a walk to footbridgeFood & drinks: Breakfast plentiful with indoor dining tables looking over water. Rooms have micro, refrig, and small kuerig with Dunkin Donuts pods.Noteworthy details: Rooms spotless. Towels bedding clean. Comfortable. Covered deck great if raining. Beautiful harbor views. Waterfront motel.”

“The sub sandwiches here are probably the best I've ever had. They are so fresh and delicious, the tomatoes taste like they were just picked off the vine, and the dressing is just the right blend of spices. The bread was extremely fresh and delicious . It would've been nice if they had music playing softly as it was extremely quiet, the service was excellent, but not overly friendly.”

“I absolutely love Sisters! Everything about their food is spot on! Their to-go hot meals are fantastic and their sandwiches are easily the best in Mid Coast Maine! #sandwichloverParking: I've never had trouble finding parking but their lot is small and a little tricky when on the crowded side!Wheelchair accessibility: They have dedicated parking and the inside has more than enough room for those with mobility devices. They have some merch and other local products for sale that are tall enough that anyone in a wheelchair would not be able to access it without assistance.”

“This is "Soup N*zi"-level soup. Not only is the quality/taste phenomenal, but the variety is also impressive - 2-3 hot soups available on any given day (rotating weekly), and a few more varieties available in the freezer, covering every soup style you can imagine. I've yet to meet a soup here that I didn't love. Currently enjoying an African Sweet Potato soup that I didn't think I'd like, but sure enough it's now one of my new favorites. Add a petite sandwich to your bowl of soup if you're REALLY hungry, but generally a bowl of their hearty soups is sure to satisfy on its own. Super friendly staff, very nice small shop.”

“Wonderful place to grab late breakfast/brunch in Boothbay Maine with friends! The abundance of food was incredible! We thought we were eating Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch altogether! We couldn't decide if the Pancakes and bacon was the best or the large sandwiches and fries were the best!”

“I saw the cool name of this place and HAD to stop and try it. Lady was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We tried the hard serve Black Raspberry ice cream with Crunch Kote ?Also had the Vanilla/Chocolate twist soft serve with Cookie dough ?And the Pink Lemonade frappe and the Screwdriver frappe. Both very good!”
“Fun place for lunch. The servers were hard working and friendly. Don't turn away if the line is long. There are a lot of choices so you will need time to decide and the line goes quickly. The food was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. The egg salad could have used some sweet relish. Thanks.”

“Trisha's pies are on another level. That full flavor butter crust dusted with just the right amount of sugar. It compliments the perfectly sweetened fruit centers. Do yourself a favor, and special order a cherry. It's a few bucks more, but worth every mouth watering cent. You can't go wrong with whatever flavor you choose. The chocolate cream is evenly balanced, and truly delicious. A fan favorite everywhere I bring it. My family in has started to request these pies for every holiday, or family function. I'm happy to oblige, and Trish is a sweetheart. Thank you Trish for making me a rockstar at family functions. Looking forward to all the future deliciousness.”

“Small place, but the food and service was amazing. Cinnamon rolls right out of the oven. My boyfriend had the seafood omelette, said it was to die for. Definitely a new favorite.”

“We stopped by after normal breakfast hours and were delighted to discover that they were still serving breakfast. We had omelets with home fries and toast. Wonderful food and service.”
“They do need to get their website up and running. The decor is welcoming and charming-- it was crowded but not full when we were there, and it was pretty noisy, but not excessively so. The staff were welcoming and knowledgeable-- although there are certain pieces that remind you that you are in a relatively new restaurant-- timing of food delivery, forgetting a drink order, a little over-stretched on service. We had a later reservation and we really felt rushed out the door. They should probably consider closing later than 8 p.m. so that the staff isn't racing around cleaning up by 7:45, even if they're no longer taking orders. Now, let's get to the important part. The food is really good. A fabulous addition to the area. The potato side for the filet is smoky and a great counterpoint to the meat, which was delicious. The steak frites was definitely delicious and a bargain. French fries were deemed excellent (a rarity for our French fry lover). The beet carpaccio was not as described on the menu, but a delicious combination of flavors all the same. The trout was perfectly prepared. We only had the ice cream for dessert, but the folks at the next table were raving about the sorbets and the tart. We did not ask about the options for vegans or people with food allergies such as gluten (celiac), dairy, or nuts. Several dishes are dusted with pistachio, so a super sensitive person might need to ask that the whole table forego any of those.”

“Our new coffee shop! Amazing service, fast and friendly. The food is OUT OF THIS WORLD good. Its great finding a place that stays open for the locals not just the vacationers. We absolutely love this place and the staff are what make it.The coffee is always great and its never a long wait.”
“Nice craft brewery in Bath. The gooseberry sour was perfectly tart and got me perfectly boozed up for a proper game of scrabble. Was popping and lively on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely has a German influence, setting it apart from its counterparts in the surrounding area. Would love to return!”
“Love this place definitely a great little brewery to hit when you're in town!! They started selling BBQ, it's ok I'm not a fan of Carolina style BBQ but then I'm a born and bred Kansas City BBQ fan so I'm pretty picky!!”

“The food here is amazing. The seating is limited but it's worth the wait if you have to. It's got that old Maine vibe that you don't get from these new places. Been going since I was a kid.”
“Very nice place in the commercial part of town. They make their own beer, but I didn't try it.Quick, efficient and friendly service. The food is abundant, I suggest that if you are not very hungry, two people share a first and a second. The Fish & Fried Very successful; I recommend ordering it with sweet potato and not potato as is traditional. The hake is smooth, just right and with great flavour. Frying preserves its texture and does not take away from the fish. The meatloaf, perhaps a little bland, but the "gravy" rare for this type of meat, makes it a good dish. Finally we ordered "Mac and cheese" with buffalo chicken, it is a huge dish; impossible to finish it. The chicken sauce is very well combined with the macaroni cheese, which lacks flavor and creaminess.I would return daily until finishing their menu.”
“We have been coming to stay in a cabin in Phippsburg for years, and I knew there had to be a way to get fresh, local seafood at a reasonable price. Now I know where! The sisters will steam lobsters for about half what we'd pay in a restaurant, and then you go pick them up and bring them home. They also have other merchandise available, including crackers and pickers and hats. But WOW was it good lobster, and at a price I'm very happy to pay. I'm sure we'll be back before we go home again. Along the way to their house is a little farmstand that has everything else you need for a lobster dinner. They will also sell them live, but I am way too squeamish for that!”

“This place is as legitimate as it comes. Mother and daughter been there for 25 plus years doing the same two dishes over and over again. Cooked to perfection. Be sure you go to the right place, the new place around the corner is not bets!”
“I took 33 students there and the staff was great. The owner was extremely generous and kind. The best part was the portions were generous and it is some of the best I have ever had. It is a great place. Thank you, Charlie”

It is adorable, food was authentic and fulfilling, and the staff were so kind. We can’t wait to come back next year and eat here again!! Couldn’t recommend this place more!! Thank you for such a great experience!”

“Chefs seeking to create within the context of #Maine Coastal Cuisine must respect entrenched expectations while at the same time seeking opportunities to introduce elements of surprise, and occasional open rebellion. Such is definitely the case at Blue, where the playfully inventive talent of Chef Esau Crosby brings unexpected twists to familiar Maine staples such as grilled swordfish and mignonette sauce. On a recent evening, the marinated & grilled swordfish was served with an inspired housemade ketchup based in retrieving the condiments’ pre-Heinz history, while the punchy & peppery mignonette offered fresh counterpoint, rather than drab camouflage, for a half dozen perfectly shucked and presented Robinhood Cove oysters. The music mix in the dining room offered a subtle clue to what was going on in the kitchen, offering an unusual (for Maine restaurants!) mix of jazz ballads from John Coltrane to Billie Holiday turning familiar tunes inside out, thereby making them new again. There was something both slightly sad and slyly humorous about seeing the same ole “Garden Salad" (yawn) listed as a daily "special", while from the regular seasonal menu we thoroughly enjoyed playful riffs on beet salad, here served as a colorful composition with pea shoots, cashews and shaved fennel; and in a second salad, baby greens were brought into perfect harmony with roasted local apples. The wine list was equally as playful. Yes, there were the inevitable California Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays and Cab Savs (double yawn), yet we were pleasantly surprised by the presence of an excellent Loess Grüner Veltliner and a delightful Argiolas Armentino from Sardinia. With regret, we must report the one sour note for our otherwise memorable evening at Blue, and that is the clumsy performance of the two Grey Havens (triple yawn) Innkeepers, who would be better advised to let the excellent front-of-house staff do their thing unencumbered by their bossy & boorish attempts at conducting, sort of like like beginner tuba players barging into a jam session among seasoned pros. In sum, we will happily return to Blue for as long as Chef Crosby performs at the heart of the mix. As for the Inn, well, the front porch does offer a lovely view of coves and offshore islands. For us, that will be "Inn" enough!”
