The ice cream is especially delicious and there is a very unique sundae menu if you want something even more fabulous. The blueberry float is hands down one of the most delicious creations on the planet and I always drink too many when I'm in the area. Please support this local gem!! “Lots of fried seafood in Maine but this was really good. Light and crispy coating. We got the clam sandwich (great deal for $8), scallop basket (the fries are also battered) and onion rings. I would recommend all but the scallops and onion rings were the favorite. Eat there at cute tables or take away. There's also a produce shack next to it with syrups, jams, eggs and more.”

“Delivery to you home. This is the best Gelato I've ever tasted. Their Cookies and Cream has caramel in it. Their Blueberry really tastes like Maine Blueberry Pie. I've had Gelato from Italy, and Gelato from little Italian Ice cream shops, and Mamma Lucia Pizza restaurant in DC area. This has all of them topped in flavor and lightness. Even my wife who is dairy sensitive can have it. Be careful it is shipped in dry ice. So know how to dispose of dry ice when you get it. No disposal, no touch with bare hands, no indoor storage. Or come to the store.”

“Today was our first time at the Brunswick Diner. Upon arrival an older gentleman suffered a medical issue and the waitress (Sophie I believe) jumped right in to help him. She took so much care in how she treated him and really took control of the situation getting him the help and attention he needed. My husband and I were very impressed by the way she handled everything in an already cramped and busy environment. We enjoyed our food and the staff were all kind and attentive.”

So far the hot honey chicken sandwich and the cannelloni are my favorites. The service is excellent. You’ll interact with several waitstaff on your visit which is nice. “For a chain, the ice cream is pretty delicious! They have a large selection of flavors to choose from, mostly general kinds you’d expect at an ice cream place except for my ultimate favorite one now, which is called: Baked Indian Pudding! I really can’t find this flavor any where else, not even the grocery store. Get that as a frappe and you’ll be coming back for again & again. The small frappe on their website says it’s priced $5.05, but I’ve ALWAYS been charged around $8.95 for a “minor” sized frappe no matter what flavor. Don’t expect a cheap ice cream treat- but it’s worth it no matter the size you get.”
