“Trisha's pies are on another level. That full flavor butter crust dusted with just the right amount of sugar. It compliments the perfectly sweetened fruit centers. Do yourself a favor, and special order a cherry. It's a few bucks more, but worth every mouth watering cent. You can't go wrong with whatever flavor you choose. The chocolate cream is evenly balanced, and truly delicious. A fan favorite everywhere I bring it. My family in has started to request these pies for every holiday, or family function. I'm happy to oblige, and Trish is a sweetheart. Thank you Trish for making me a rockstar at family functions. Looking forward to all the future deliciousness.”
“We have been coming to stay in a cabin in Phippsburg for years, and I knew there had to be a way to get fresh, local seafood at a reasonable price. Now I know where! The sisters will steam lobsters for about half what we'd pay in a restaurant, and then you go pick them up and bring them home. They also have other merchandise available, including crackers and pickers and hats. But WOW was it good lobster, and at a price I'm very happy to pay. I'm sure we'll be back before we go home again. Along the way to their house is a little farmstand that has everything else you need for a lobster dinner. They will also sell them live, but I am way too squeamish for that!”
“Only ever gotten take out, but great service each time we’ve picked up our order, always ready on time. We plan to dine in at some point soon, as it seems like a clean and cozy little space. Highly recommend the drunken noodle. I’ve patiently waited for better Thai/Vietnamese food in the greater Brunswick area, and I honestly think this is the best.”
“Vegetables were fresh, chicken meat was prime, food tasted great. We’ve been in Thailand often so could tell if authentic. Service was fast and food came out hot. Keep up the excellent quality. Yellow curry great as was Basil chicken and salad.”
“I was visiting from out of town and stopped in for an early lunch. The owner exudes a remarkable kindness that was so inviting. I had an incredible sandwich on the best gluten free bread I've ever tasted. I'd give it 6 stars if I could.Dietary restrictions: Glute free”
“Grazie mille, Nylaina, for your superb advice and help, and to Simone per un cornetto stupendo e uno stirato fanstastico. Still soaring on recollections of savoring Simone's creations and yesterday's time in Solo Pane, the place in which I can get closest to Rome on this side of the Atlantic. Bravissimi a tutti.”
“Small place, but the food and service was amazing. Cinnamon rolls right out of the oven. My boyfriend had the seafood omelette, said it was to die for. Definitely a new favorite.”
“Love this deli so much! The sandwiches are SO good and the employees are always friendly. I also love how they have a little shop where you can buy different little things. I also love how they have premade sandwiches ready for lunch. Highly recommend!”
“Nice craft brewery in Bath. The gooseberry sour was perfectly tart and got me perfectly boozed up for a proper game of scrabble. Was popping and lively on a Sunday afternoon. Definitely has a German influence, setting it apart from its counterparts in the surrounding area. Would love to return!”
“My husband and I sat down for a meal because we heard they had veg friendly Bahn Mi! Not only did they serve me the mushroom tofu bond me, but they also had a gluten-free bread option and they provided hot sauce at every table (the bahn mi does not have jalapenos on it)! We had some really nicely shucked oysters that we're beautiful and fresh! Their seafood as well as their plant-based food is top notch here!”
“We had a delicious meal at Long Reach from drinks, starters, mains, a special and dessert!! Everyone was pleased with their choices. The view was lovely , even from the inside, and the outdoor area, weather permitting , is beautiful. Our server, Jacelyn was a delight! She gave us great recs and shared all the fun upcoming events that will be happening. Thanks Jacelyn! We can't wait to return!”
“I've cream was great! I was very surprised by how much was on a large cone. I think the guy serving me was just as surprised. Definitely could have fed a family a 4. My wife's small is more what I was expecting ?”
“This is "Soup N*zi"-level soup. Not only is the quality/taste phenomenal, but the variety is also impressive - 2-3 hot soups available on any given day (rotating weekly), and a few more varieties available in the freezer, covering every soup style you can imagine. I've yet to meet a soup here that I didn't love. Currently enjoying an African Sweet Potato soup that I didn't think I'd like, but sure enough it's now one of my new favorites. Add a petite sandwich to your bowl of soup if you're REALLY hungry, but generally a bowl of their hearty soups is sure to satisfy on its own. Super friendly staff, very nice small shop.”
“We eat at the Montsweag Restaurant regularly because it's one of the best restaurants in the Bath area. This is Maine Restaurant Week, so we wanted to find out what the Montsweag is offering as specials. Wow!! They have a special menu with interesting and tasty selections. You can order the 3-course menu for $55 prix fixe, or you can order items ala carte. We particularly liked as a starter the pizzetta, and as entrees both the Fisherman's Seafood Kettle and the Lamb Stew. We tried both the tiramisu and poached pear desserts. Both were delicious. The Montsweag now serves brunch. We will be sampling that soon.”
“My favorite Café in Bath. They have coffee, lattes, smoothies, and more. All the pastries are freshly made, and they have a few sandwiches as well. Located in an historic building on the corner of Front and Center streets, the café is quaint, but crowded. It and always clean and welcoming. I usually take my food to go, because I like to sit near the water and watch birds. The café is within walking distance of the Bath Waterfront.Parking: There is only street parking with a limited number of spaces nearby. They fill up rather quickly during the morning, and noontime rush. Other public parking is available about ¹/10 to ¼mile away.”
“It's a nice place to go to once in awhile but prices can be high , the lay out is kind of all over the place and sometimes the line to check out snakes throughout the store. They offer bake goods and many different kinds of premade foods and they have an area where you can order sandwiches. If you want to eat there they have an out door patio where you can sit but wouldn't be good for winter months or bad weather.Vegetarian options: Among the premade foods they had salads and soups that didn't contain meat.Dietary restrictions: Didn't see anything for Keto nor is did i see anything labeled for any kind of diet.Parking: They have a parking lot but it's often full”
“This was a super fun stop on our visit up to harpswell. They had a lot of choices, and it looked like in the summer there would be plenty of seating options. Staff was friendly and helpful. Next time I have to try the pizza! Also I am giving this place bonus points. Everywhere we looked not only had fun with the theaming and history but also they hid googly eyes everywhere. We never ran out of things to talk about.”
“Fun place for lunch. The servers were hard working and friendly. Don't turn away if the line is long. There are a lot of choices so you will need time to decide and the line goes quickly. The food was very good and the atmosphere was wonderful. The egg salad could have used some sweet relish. Thanks.”
“I made a reservation for dinner for six on Friday night, Feb. 16th when some of my relatives were in town. What a perfect place to have dinner! The food was superlative and the atmosphere was absolutely terrific. Our server paid attention to us but didn't hover or intrude on our conversation. I have to say it was the best experience I've had dining out in a long, long time. Well done to everyone at Mae's for adding dinner hours to your repetoire!!Wheelchair accessibility: No one in our party on Feb. 16 needed wheelchair access but I have appreciated it in the past when I took my elderly mother there.”
“This is the premiere Irish Pub in Midcoast Maine. The selection of beer (15++) and traditional fare makes this a must visit when you’re here. Music Wednesdays. Trivia Thursdays. Sunday brunch. *Take a moment to look at all the wall art. A fun place for wings, a burger, some camaraderie and beer.”
“We stopped by after normal breakfast hours and were delighted to discover that they were still serving breakfast. We had omelets with home fries and toast. Wonderful food and service.”
“I saw the cool name of this place and HAD to stop and try it. Lady was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We tried the hard serve Black Raspberry ice cream with Crunch Kote ?Also had the Vanilla/Chocolate twist soft serve with Cookie dough ?And the Pink Lemonade frappe and the Screwdriver frappe. Both very good!”
“The food was fresh and tasted amazing! It’s a great clam shack with all fresh seafood and the burgers and fries are on point. The only small disappointment was that there’s no restroom. But that only thing is not a good enough reason to pass this place by. Best clam chowder or if you are a native (Chowdah) I have ever had ?Dietary restrictions: There was only a couple gluten free options.Parking: Parking could get tight during summer but there was plenty.”
“I've been here 4x now in 2 months. Have had good service each time!I was disappointed on my last visit because they discontinued the chili and a strawberry rhubarb beer I had really loved. I understand rotating menus keeps things new but dang. Kinda struck out this time with the tap selection; didn't find something I was interested in.The fries are exceptionally good, but the new mushroom appetizer was just meh and overpriced.Great spot, would love to hang out on the deck in coming warm months.”
“I love coming here. Their burgers are so juicy, and their fries are out of this world. I can not get enough of this place. I wish they would bring one to my town. I would go there all the time. The burgers price is high but so worth it. And the workers are great. Brunswick place is awesome. I need to try the other ones.”
“Chefs seeking to create within the context of #Maine Coastal Cuisine must respect entrenched expectations while at the same time seeking opportunities to introduce elements of surprise, and occasional open rebellion. Such is definitely the case at Blue, where the playfully inventive talent of Chef Esau Crosby brings unexpected twists to familiar Maine staples such as grilled swordfish and mignonette sauce. On a recent evening, the marinated & grilled swordfish was served with an inspired housemade ketchup based in retrieving the condiments’ pre-Heinz history, while the punchy & peppery mignonette offered fresh counterpoint, rather than drab camouflage, for a half dozen perfectly shucked and presented Robinhood Cove oysters. The music mix in the dining room offered a subtle clue to what was going on in the kitchen, offering an unusual (for Maine restaurants!) mix of jazz ballads from John Coltrane to Billie Holiday turning familiar tunes inside out, thereby making them new again. There was something both slightly sad and slyly humorous about seeing the same ole “Garden Salad" (yawn) listed as a daily "special", while from the regular seasonal menu we thoroughly enjoyed playful riffs on beet salad, here served as a colorful composition with pea shoots, cashews and shaved fennel; and in a second salad, baby greens were brought into perfect harmony with roasted local apples. The wine list was equally as playful. Yes, there were the inevitable California Pinot Noirs, Chardonnays and Cab Savs (double yawn), yet we were pleasantly surprised by the presence of an excellent Loess Grüner Veltliner and a delightful Argiolas Armentino from Sardinia. With regret, we must report the one sour note for our otherwise memorable evening at Blue, and that is the clumsy performance of the two Grey Havens (triple yawn) Innkeepers, who would be better advised to let the excellent front-of-house staff do their thing unencumbered by their bossy & boorish attempts at conducting, sort of like like beginner tuba players barging into a jam session among seasoned pros. In sum, we will happily return to Blue for as long as Chef Crosby performs at the heart of the mix. As for the Inn, well, the front porch does offer a lovely view of coves and offshore islands. For us, that will be "Inn" enough!”
“Best pizza ever! This is coming from a New Yorker. Was up in Bath for the holiday, and we went out to dinner, all of us loved the food as well as the rustic vibe. I recommend the fries as a starter, nice and crispy and well seasoned.”
“The clam hunter is by far the best oysters. Steamers were great good times made a good friend of mine eat 120 oysters 10 pounds of steamers farted up a storm, but it was good good times won’t be disappointed!!!!!!!!! Friendly as well, down Maine”
