Wanted to get away for our anniversary for a couple of day and chose Browns Wharf.Place is older but very clean and our room had a great view of the harbor. We would leave in the morning for day trips and come back to find our room cleaned. We happened to be in Maine while a tropical storm made its way off the coast. Browns is the very best place to stay in BBH. Lovely, spacious rooms. Spotlessly clean. 5⭐️ staff that is friendly and always accommodating. Breakfast has a variety of options. The blueberry muffins and cranberry nut muffins are the most delicious I’ve ever tasted. We always make our reservation for the following year before we leave. We don’t want to miss out on our week at Browns. Special thanks to Michelle, Vicky and everyone who makes Browns our favorite.

Booked 2 rooms last minute and so glad I did! This is a waterfront older hotel. Our rooms were spacious, outfitted with refrifg. microwave and small keurig. Both rooms (king and double) were immaculate! The covered waterfront deck was a comfortable nice size and we enjoyed our breakfast there. The motel dining area has lots of table seating with a Waterview for the included breakfast. Coffee was hot and plentiful. I think coffee/tea is available all day.
