A long overdue review, but my husband and I had an unforgettable experience working with Catherine and Caswell Farm for our July 2023 wedding. As soon as I stepped onto the property, I felt instantly at home... There's something in the air here that is just comfortable, inviting, and right. I was set on Caswell probably within 3 minutes. We didn't even look at any other venues. If you happen to visit in the winter when the foliage is dormant, do not be fooled. Everything was in bloom for our celebration and the greenery on and around the barn is utterly astounding. We brought little to no decor because it's frankly not necessary. The distinct spaces throughout the farm already envelope your guests with such a unique beauty and energy.
Special shoutout to the tireless service of the staff here. Catherine is warm, kind, and a consummate professional, clearly an anchor of the community and an absolute inspiration as a businesswoman. Brian of Barn & Table absolutely blew us away - not only with his team's food, but with his unbelievable promptness, attentiveness, and patience with questions, especially considering he was covering Leah at the time for the Bar Association. Last but not least, NICOLE! My beloved Nicole. I'll be honest - when I met her, I didn't understand how someone with such a calming and relaxed demeanor could be a wedding coordinator. (Aren't they supposed to be stomping around with a clipboard barking orders so things can go right?) Lo and behold she is an absolute wonder. Not only does her grounding vibe permeate your celebration, but she ALSO pulls off the entire day without a hitch, somehow without any disruption or distraction or inconvenience to you as the couple. I turned around, things were done. I blinked, problems were solved. People and things were somehow in their right places without me lifting a finger the whole day. It wasn't magic, or elves, or my prayers. It was Nicole.
What an incredible place and what a special team. Proud to be part of the legacy of Caswell and will always treasure the memories made here. Two years later, and people still will not shut up about how much they loved our wedding (nor will I).
