Had a wonderful dinner here. The Gnocchi with pistachio pesto was incredible, and I loved the pork medallion. The mushroom pasta my date had was OK, missing depth, body, and flavor. The beet salad was also just cold cut up beets😩. But all in all I loved my food.

What a perfect place for my partner and I to have our first date - the food was absolutely DELISH. Fresh ingredients clearly prepared with love and skill. Our server was lovely. The atmosphere is relaxing. The drive is worth an elevated, fresh and authentic dining experience you just can’t commonly find. This restaurant is a great place for a very well done meal! We have been here many times and we have never once been disappointed! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the service has always been above and beyond expectations! Definitely a 5/5 restaurant!

Such a lovely little gem right in downtown Hallowell! The food is incredible, every single thing on Tim’s menu will amaze you. Great wine list as well. I truly cannot recommend Bistro Milliard enough, trust me you’ve got to go try it and see for yourself.
Vegetarian options: Ask for no meat on any of the pastas for a delicious vegetarian meal. Also terrific salad and sometimes soup.
Dietary restrictions: They can make any of the pasta dishes gluten free with a chickpea fusilli.
We had reservations at 7:15. Almost twenty minutes before we could order and they were already out of the dish we wanted. Appetizer took 40 minutes and the food took about the same. I ordered coffee and had to ask multiple times so that took about 20 minutes. They should have had two wait staff if the one can't handle it. We asked for more bread and they were out. Also I believe I saw on the way out a Shaw organic box of pasta. So disappointed considering we drove over an hour to meet a friend. Our friend picked the restaurant because of the rating. Most of us left hungry. Needless to say we won't be back. To respond to "owner". My friend actually had harsher comments to say so you are lucky it was me. If you can't take constructive criticism about your business it is probably not going to survive. I'm glad your brother had a good time but you should be more considerate of paying customers who make reservations. Good luck.

Superior dinner after a long day at the Harvest Festival in Belgrade. Started with the mussels and broccoli soup. Both so good! Pesto Gnocchi was the main - SUPERIOR! And closed with the cheesecake. Delicious. I liked that the menu was not overwhelming. It was straight forward, seasonal selections and fresh and delicious. Wines by the bottle are reasonable. This place is a 10 out of 10!! Thank you Chef Tim and shout out to our lovely server, Elizabeth. Love what ya’ll are doing at Bistro Milliard!!!
