“I like the Hannfords on Cony, I always shop there. It is right nearby and convenient. Yesterday I stopped in on my way home from my Chiropractor to pick up some vegetables. As I was pushing my cart, I slipped on a puddle of water in the produce dept. There were a couple guys working there chitchatting away who must not have seen the puddle. Luckily, there were 3 Ladies who grabbed me as I was going down. They yelled at the guys about the puddle and told me I should report them. I didn't report them, but I probably should have. Interesting though, the 3 Ladies were unmasked, while I still wear mine due to having a compromised family member. They did not hesitate to help me. After the last year of dealing with Covid fears, It was nice to have real human contact. I was very impressed with the way Hannaford's handled the safety of their employees as well as their customers. It is a bit unsettling to not see hand sanitizer etc. and some employees with no masks, etc. Guess it will take time to settle back into the "New Normal"...“
