Very nice place went there for a fundraiser for another local bar which I was very thankful to see the community get together for this I didn't rate food because I didn't have any I have to say the service was great great selection I did go during evening hours which was considered bar time only and that was the other reason I did not have anything to eatParking: The area has timed parking on the street but if you're going out as a late night date night it is until you leave a lot of streets have more parking along the area but very easy to usually find free parking there is no parking garage so you do need to find your own parking area

One of the most overused phrases I have yet to use is "best kept secret." However, it fits the evolution of The Maine House. Bao & Beyond, one of the best Bao trucks, has found a brick and mortar home here, and their delectable menu has expanded! For now they serve midweekdays but hopefully it will expand. The buns are still outrageous, the fried chicken dishes flavorful, and the bulgogi bouncing with lettuce wrap platters. While cocktails are still highly creative and sought after, the beer selection is somewhat lackluster. Inside you will find a perfect comfy winter hideaway with friends and friendly service.

One of the best, if not the BEST , is to enjoy an amazing cocktail made by the owner and Mixologist Leah. The staff are lovely and quick to provide great care for their patrons. Small but very welcoming decor. It is a great place to be with friends. They also have Asian infusion food twice a week! Delicious.

One of the best date-night locations in central Maine. Excellent cocktails and mocktails. Great food (outsourced from the Liberal Cup, next door.) I do wish they had a few more tables and service can be a bit slow at times. However, I highly recommend!

Stopped here just for drinks after having dinner elsewhere. The drinks were amazing. I could definitely taste the smoke in the Mezcal. The only reason I dropped the stars on service wasn't related to our interactions at all. While we were there, we saw two other couples turned away because the staff wanted to close early. It was only 9:30 PM on a Saturday.... ?

Bartender is dismissive.If you want to tie one on then stop here bc their drinks are straight alcohol.Seems odd to complain about a strong drink but you can't even taste the drink. It's literally alcohol only which is why these 2 completely different drinks tasted exactly the same. A cross between alcohol and orange peels which there may have just been waaay to mich orange flavor in them.I heard ppl go there to pregame before other bars and I see why.It would be decent if they actually took the time to make a decent cocktail instead of just inundating you with alcohol.I keep considering giving them another chance but at 15.00 a drink, I'm hesitate
We love stopping here! It’s a must for us every time we come to Maine! This year we had our little one with us and I’ve never felt so welcome anywhere with a baby. They brought him toys and talked to him and even the other patrons seemed…just not annoyed that there was a child. We’ve always loved stopping here and this visit really makes me want to come back. Also the drinks are insanely delicious, I’ve never ordered anything here I haven’t liked!Kid-friendliness: We brought our 9 month out with us during vacation and the staff was so welcoming to both us and him. I think the employees had some of their kids helping/hanging out and it really made the vibe enjoyable!!

Everytime I come here I’m served promptly, with a smile & the quality of the drink is amazing! The bartender really takes her time to ensure the PRESENTATION of the drink matches the quality of flavor!!! The food is incredible, must have the onion rings & pork dumplings! Will continue coming back! Happy happy customer, every single time!
