Cute little Cafe with Maine artisan goods and books. Can sit outside and enjoy some food and the beautiful ocean view. Parking is good and they have an outhouse. Some days the local traveling library van will be available. Definitely recommend.

Just go for a blueberry scone and coffee. But go early they run out of scones before noon. You will not regret it. Serious the best. Everything else is good too. But don't fail to buy a scone. The blueberry one!!!

A sit outside by the water kind of cafe. The very best bread I have ever eaten!
Homemade bread, house made dressing/ sauce for sandwiches with a wide variety of fresh veggies and cheese made my tummy happy!
Vegetarian options: There was not many vegetarian options but their homemade bread with a wide choice of veggies, cheeses and house made sauces made my cheese sandwich one of the best cheese sandwiches I’ve ever eaten.

Scenic waterfront spot on Orr's Island for laid-back outdoor dining or meals to go. Chowders, seafood, sandwiches, wraps, chips, deserts, drinks, merch and more. The waterfront dining location of Salt Cod Cafe makes this a FIVE STAR stop!

The only game in town for a close breakfast when staying on Orr's Island. The homemade bread and scones are so awesome.

The lobster roll wasn’t impressive, but the clam chowder was outstanding and the scones were out of this world!!!! I’ve never had such scrumptious, & delicate scone! If we ever go back to Maine, Salt Cod Cafe will be my #1 destination.

We've visited the Salt Cod Cafe on many trips to Bailey Island. Only open for breafast and lunch, we stop there every visit. Good food, and they don't even charge for the beautiful views.
Great little place to grab a really good pastry or sandwich.
Peaceful, pleasant staff, seaside, and good food.
Parking: Plenty of parking
Great lunch. The homemade bread is fantastic
Got there around 10 AM for breakfast and the selection was limited ( my fault for not getting up earlier!) Scones were delicious. Nice outside seating area to watch the boats and ocean.
