This was the worst service experience that I have ever had in a restaurant. My server, ELIZABETH B, actually raised her voice and yelled at me that the reason I did not receive what I ordered was my fault!!! When I first addressed ELIZABETH B about my order I told her I knew it wasn’t her fault, but…. And, she proceeded to yell at me! I never have received such disrespect in a restaurant!. Where is the customer service? I told ELIZABETH B that she was loosing her tip. This is something I have never done. Thank goodness this is not my first visit to Maine, she should be embarrassed.

A friend of mine and I went to the Olde Mill Tavern on Harrison on 5/19/25 for an early dinner. I have to share it was AMAZING! I had the NY Strip Steak dinner. It might be the best piece of steak I’ve had in my life, and it was cooked to perfection! Hot, tender and juicy, WOW! My friend had the Baked Haddock dinner and it was excellent as well. The waitress was fantastic service was quick and food was hot. Really great experience and great food. As far as price, honestly the dinners were pretty expensive $29 and $27 but, I minded that less after tasting the steak! I would definitely recommend going there.

We went there during our vacation to Harrison, Maine. Bar was very inviting and everyone was so friendly. Like a Cheers type place, but we were welcomed as regulars. Wonderful bartender and food. Highly recommended.
Coming from the city, I admit I can be a bit snobby about food and didn’t have high expectations. But the food was amazing! I like to eat healthy so bar food isn’t normally my vibe but this was great. I had the Lobster roll with sweet potato fries and everything was delicious. We were a party of six and nobody was disappointed. Service was efficient and friendly atmosphere was typical tavern. I highly recommend for a good warm meal in a tavern atmosphere.

Service was slow on a not so busy night. Good live music/atmosphere. Bartenders do not know how to make a classic cocktail, which is disappointing. Had 2 of 4 good meals at the table. Burgers were both overcooked, ordered medium, and came out well done. One was also charred on both sides and dry. Server came by once before I had a chance to notice this, and by the time she came back, had said "I wish you told me sooner". I told her I would have, but I didn't yet see it at the time, and she responded with "next time". I do not feel that the situation was taken care of properly as we still had to pay for this burger that was not eaten. Hope the restaurant can assess and fix the situation so that we may give it another shot.
