“I don't drive more than 10 minutes for ice cream — definitely not 30-plus — but we made an exception while staying in Raymond to check out Long Lake Creamery over in Harrison. Totally worth it. The soft chocolate ice cream was some of the creamiest we’ve ever had, the sundae (peanut butter and hot fudge, yes please) was massive and delicious and they had so many flavors of ice cream to choose from. We also loved the homemade cones, the friendly staff and the pretty spot right on the water.”

Tonight the dinner was exceptional: Polenta baked with portobello mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach; excellent apple and greens salad; great bruschetta; cannoli and — of course — gelato. “Gluten free food can be hard to find…especially delicious gluten free! We recently had occasion to try their onion rings which were freshly made to order and were full of flavor! They take food allergies seriously and we are so thrilled to be able to enjoy local food that everyone in the family can enjoy. We will most certainly be back and recommend giving their food a try.
